I NEVER want the Superior Spider-Man to come back, that series had gone from good to decent to flat out horrible. When Peter came back, I was fucking happy beyond belief since HE is a true hero, not Otto who only wanted to prove he can be a better Spider-Man then Pete was which he failed horribly at in the end since the Green Goblin trounced him with ease and he even admitted Parker was always better.

In response to Blue's comment about Mary Jane, I fucking agree as well, Gwen Stacey was the ONLY girl for Peter. But I will admit I did like Anna Maria and how the romance between her and Otto as Peter worked out since he accepted Anna for who she was.

Honestly? I might take some flak for it, but Gwen was never really that interesting of a character. She was pretty one-note, as I recall. I liked her in the movies, but in the comics? Not so much. She's mostly been redeemed by other media. Like in the Spectacular Spider Man and the Amazing movies, she's portrayed as this smart, capable charming girl that's great for Peter. In the comics, she was never like that. Ever. If it hadn't been for her dying, Peter probably would have dumped her and she'd be another one of his girlfriends that nobody remembers he had.

I liked him and Felicia more, myself.

I liked Gwen in Ultimate. I don't like MJ because my prevailing memory of her is as a stinky heavy smoker wearing ugly 80's/early 90's crap while being miserable and giving Peter shit.

Yeah Gwen was awesome in the Spectacular Spider-Man show and the Amazing Spider-Man movies, but I also like how the Ultimate comics do with Gwen as well, and even though she is a clone right now that was created by Carnage, she STILL was awesome. But I still prefer Gwen mainly as Peter's love interest and if they had her not die they could have expanded more on her, but if it cannot be her then I would have to go with Felicia Hardy as well. Too bad that Otto as Spider-Man helped fuck that up now for him now.
