He actually wins the boxing match against Superman, because the light in the arena is generating red sunlight and no one realizes it until it's too late. It's kind of amazing.

Then they teamed up and took on the Star Warriors together, because that's how crossovers work.

still, I think Supes was playing a bit fast and loose with the earth just to make some guy look good. He should be able to figure these things out.
