I've seen it. Great show. So many awesome moments, and whoever did the casting deserves some kind of medal, because he got it RIGHT.
- Spoiler:
- Not crazy about the costume, but I'm willing to let it grow on me.

I more or less feel the same way. I just have 1.5ish issues with it.
- Spoiler:
- The costume was fine. There's been enough different Daredevil costumes that I don't think that the solid red one is THAT iconic. I prefer the yellow one myself.
Ok, so... I loved the show. I thought the casting was pretty amazing too, especially Dnoffrio(?!) as Kingpin. He did such an amazing job.
A minor issue I had, was they kind of, sort of, ran through the major DD storylines in ONE season. Like, they did Fall From Grace before Kingpin was ever really Kingpin. But, that's not a huge deal. I understand why they did that. They didn't know if there was going to BE a second season.
They killed the Owl, which sucked. Especially cause the guy who played him was awesome. The Owl needs to be around. I want more of Marvel's criminal underworld and he's a major, major player. However, he did mention a son, so, HOPEFULLY, we'll actually get "The Owl later on.
What, for me, is actually almost a deal breaker is killing off Ben Urich. I don't know if people really understand just how important this guy is to the Marvel Universe. He's a minor character, but he's an IMPORTANT one. He's, like, the old dog. The voice of reason amongst all the chaos in the universe. He's the guy that's looking out for the little guy and he's just an old reporter typing away at his typewriter, one click at a time. (Which I did like how they sort of lampshaded that a bit.)
He can BE that in the MCU with little appearances here and there. And they killed him. If they needed to take him out of the story, there are ways to do it without death. They already had a dramatic death or two in the series. It felt so, so unnecessary to .e I think killing off characters is one of the biggest crimes writing.
Of course death is necessary, but to use a wrestling term, it's such cheap heat. A good writer should be able to find ways to resolve issues WITHOUT having to just kill someone. Especially someone who provides a lot of depth to the overall picture like Urich did. He helps fill out the MCU by playing his small role.
It's not a TOTAL dealbreaker for me. I'll still watch the next season... but man, it sure soured what would have been otherwise near perfection.

Yeah its sad looking in hindsight that a few changes would have made the show perfect.
My biggest gripe with Flash was the whole love triangle with barry iris and eddie thawne. loved everything else.

Killing off characters for the shock value is a sure sign of a shitty writer, as far as I'm concerned. It's a cheap trick, and it's super popular now.

The only reason killing a character off is acceptable is if its central to the plot. Not for shock, but to impact the rest of the characters in the future, and into the next season we will see the effects it had on them.
but if it's for shock value alone i totally agree with bluemouse.

AS DO I! >:O Most everyone in that show is brilliant, but George Martin is a fat sack of shit and I hate his guts for ruining storytelling in modern day media.

Speaking of Killing off characters, what about NBC not renewing Constantine? That show had a lot of potential and was really accurate to the comics. Any else feel a bit steamed about this?
