I thought it was one of the weaker Bond books. Read Casino Royale and Live and Let Die.

I liked the writing style but the climax was really bizarre. Let's crawl through a air duct for an hour and then fight a giant squid that wasn't foreshadowed at all.

Bond fights the creatures of the sea a lot.

and I love Felmming's writing style even if it is just a giant advertisement. I just think that Dr. No was one of the weaker books. From Russia with Love, Diamonds are Forever and Goldfinger are also good.

I'd probably pass on Moonraker and The Spy Who Loved me though.
