If Shino had to predict what her first match within the AFW was going to be...this wouldn't have been it. Of course this wasn't the kind of environment that Shino was used to. The girl squirming a bit in the ice cream trying to ignore the coldness around her. While she tried to see how her opponent was dealing with it, Shino didn't want to look like she was uncomfortable and kept a calm appearance. Certainly having that girl blushing while looking at her left Shino a bit uneasy herself. Having to wonder what she was thinking about and if this girl was more used to these kinds of things than she was. Either way she tried to keep that slight blush from growing. Seeing her opponent startled left Shino blinking a bit in surprise, but able to avoid reacting in a rude fashion.

While this was Shino's first big match she couldn't help taking her opponent a little lightly there. "Don't worry about that. With this kind of match...I don't really have much expectations going in." She tried to smile a bit a little uneasy about this whole thing. Either way she nodded a little and reached out to shake the hand of Maya. "Well I guess that gives you some advantage, though I'll try to keep up." Shino responding and just trying not to shiver a little from the coolness of the ice cream. Releasing that hand before backing away a little to get ready for what was about to come. "Good luck." She offered before trying to keep an eye out for any early attacks from this girl.

Maya certainly didn't feel like she had an advantage in this match even if she had fought in ice cream before.
