Angel Survivors (For HighFly)

Mikoto couldnâ€t help but let out an exaggerated sigh when Suzu revealed that the identity of her first opponent was a mystery. How could she already get this far into her relaunched wrestling career and not know who sheâ€s due to wrestle. The AFW executives could have decided to pit her against Chris Morgan for all she knew!

“Uhm…s-sure, why not? A training bout sounds like a great way to work off any ring rust,” Suzuâ€s infectious smile practically made it impossible to turn down her offer, plus it looked like Suzu could use a little guidance after having been away from wrestling for those few years. Upon entering the nearest unattended ring a light bulb shined over Mikotoâ€s head.

“Oh, Suzu, let me help you with something first...Could you lay on your back for me?” If the Tsunami would oblige the priestess, Miko would raise Suzuâ€s injured leg and push it back against her upper body. Leg stretches intending to limber her up, Suzuâ€s leg would start to feel noticeably more mobile and limber.

Suzumi happily bounded towards the nearest ring, thrilled to get some real practice in. Suzumi climbed through the ropes and bounced in place as she waited for Mikoto to follow suit. However, she was confused at first about Mikoto asking her to lay on her back. "Uhh, sure but what the heck are ya gonna do?" Suzumi asked. "Are you gonna start out with me in a hold and me trying to work my way out or something?"

Suzumi, thinking she'd figured out the reasoning of the request laid down on her back while trying to guess what submission Mikoto would try...."She is totally gonna put me in a boston crab to start I bet!" Suzumi thought to herself.

“Well….uhm, before we get started with any of that…” With great care and precision Mikoto would take Suzuâ€s formerly injured leg and perform several stretches to warm up her hamstring, calf and other leg muscles. After some bending, twisting and turning, the priestess would offer Suzu a helping hand back to her feet with a warm smile on her face, her leg noticeably more functional and prepped for exercise.

“Just wanted to make sure you were good to go. You should speak with some of the head trainers when you have the chance, maybe they can offer some advice or fit you with a leg brace if they think you need it. Oh, remind to get you some of this muscle relaxing cream I have back home, it works wonders~….” Suzuâ€s carefree nature had apparently triggered the mothering side of Mikoto she developed while tending to and supporting her family. The priestess couldnâ€t help but start offering her advice and services, with her living alone now she had no one else to dote on. She hoped Suzu wouldn't mind returning the conversation back to her leg, she only meant to help.

“So, h-how do you feel?" Mikoto asking shyly, hoping for good news and ready to start training if Suzumi was.

Suzumi went along with Mikoto's idea, and she was glad that she did. Her leg felt much more limber than before! Suzumi accepted the help back to her feet and happily hopped up and down to show off the results. "I will totally chat them up afterwards! Thanks for the stretches Mikoto!" Suzumi said with a giant grin.

She stretched her arms a bit and walked over to the ropes to tug on them and run across the ring. Moving around the ring felt great to Suzumi. Acting was fun but this just made her feel more alive than acting ever could. "Ok, I am ready when you are! Don't take me lightly either, just because I haven't been around in a while doesn't mean I forgot my tricks of the trade!" Suzumi said as she stopped her running about, walking to the center of the ring while holding her hands out to offer an opening lock-up.

Mikotos head swiveled left and right as she observed Suzu bouncing off the ropes in her own warm up exercise, clearly demonstrating her eagerness to reenter the ring and relive the old days. It was hard not to be swept up in her enthusiasm, the priestess bouncing left and right now just as much in the mood for a match as Suzu was. Already warmed from her early stretches, Mikoto approached the Tsunami with arms extended and going along with the lock up.

“Alright Suzu, but you may need to pick up a few new tricks while youâ€re here..” With her hand on the back of Suzus head and her leg extended behind her in the lock up, Miko pushed forward in the hold before adjusting her grip and attempting to flip the tsunami over in a hip toss. If successful Miko would maintain her head lock on Suzu after she lands on her back. Although Suzu warned Miko not to hold back, the priestess still aired on the set of caution with a relatively basic wrestling move.

"Ooomph!" Suzumi grunted as Mikoto grabbed her by the head and delivered a well executed hip toss, while keeping hold of Suzumi. Suzumi grabbed hold of Mikoto's wrists and tried to pull her hands apart to free herself from the headlock. Suzumi wasn't weak but raw power was never her real ticket to success. As she tried to free herself, she attempted to bring her legs to each side of Mikoto and wrap them around Mikoto's mid section.

Suzumi was more worried about securing her legs around Mikoto and giving enough of a squeeze to Mikoto so she felt pressure but not enough to really put a hurting on her friend, this was training after all. Suzumi knew she needed the practice more than Mikoto as well.... the Tsunami had a lot of rust to shake off.

Laying there with her side pressing down on Suzus chest, Mikoto wrenched in the side headlock even tighter when she felt Suzus hands attempt to pry her grip open. Internally the priestess was practically grading the Tsunamiâ€s performance to critique her later on, for now unfortunately distracting her enough for Suzu wrap her legs around Mikoto slender waist.

“Nnngh…” Squirming slightly from the newly applied body scissors, the distracting squeeze play did cause Miko to lighten up on the hold somewhat. The priestess could tell that Suzu was holding back some of her strength, but for now Miko was content knowing Suzu had thought of an effective way to break the hold. The pressure starting to get a little ‘tooâ€distracting, Miko relinquished her hold and concentrated on digging her hands between Suzu legs and work out of her own predicament, wondering if Suzu would let up on her body scissors just like she eased up on her headlock.

Suzumi felt relief as soon as Mikoto let go. She felt her younger friend trying to pry herself free from Suzumi's legs. Suzumi initially wanted to go for a rear naked choke but she wasn't in a good position directly behind Mikoto for it. Suzumi let Mikoto go and quickly rolled backwards away from Mikoto, creating distance so she could safely get back to her feet. "Ya had me pretty good there." Suzumi acknowledged as she got up.

Before her main focus was defensive. She was better at reversing or countering her opponents attacks to use against them than she was at going straight on the offensive. She had to test herself to see if she still had it. "Show me what ya got Mikoto!" Suzumi said, motioning for Mikoto to move in.

Digging her fingers into Suzuâ€s meaty thighs did ease up on the body scissors enough for Miko to think she could have shimmied through, though she did breathe her own sigh of relief once Suzu ended the move herself. The priestess quickily made some distance between the two and rose to her feet rubbing her waist where the body scissors was applied. “As did you, Suzu. You may not be as rusty as you think…”

Mikoto shot Suzu a competitive smirk when the Tsunami dared her on with that enthusiastic challenge. Her old competitive spirit for wrestling was getting her blood pumping again apparently, and Mikoto couldnâ€t help but feed off it. “Alright, letâ€s speed things up…” Falling back into the ropes behind her and bouncing off them for added momentum, the priestess would dash forward to attempt a sky high leap upwards onto Suzuâ€s shoulders. But rather than flip her through the air in a hurricanrana, Mikoto would attempt to wrap her leg around the back of Suzuâ€s neck and hook it with her other knee, leaning back into a hanging figure four head lock.

Unfortunately for Suzumi her old friend picked up a few new moves! She was caught completely off guard by the acrobatic and unique version of Mikoto's hold. The pressure was immediate and Suzumi let out a scream as the pain kicked in.

Suzumi stumbled down to one knee, and knew she had to figure out a way out of this one. Time to see if her back and legs still had the old power..... Suzumi struggled back to standing with Mikoto still holding, and tried to jump up a bit and lean. If she couldn't wiggle her way out perhaps landing on top of Mikoto could shake the woman's grasp?
