Eliza Harenwood vs Clyde Gastin.

Eliza was expecting Clyde to come at her, he was that lively sort of chap. She could certainly tell that.

Although she didn't expect him to attempt such an odd move, Eliza had never seen something like that when she watched wrestling with her Brothers. Ms Harenwood was completely taken aback, and so she got caught in the hold.

"Ghn." Eliza muttered out, she could feel the pressure around her noggin. The ballroom girl knew she had to attempt an escape, she quickly thought of her options. She couldn't really do a body scissors as she was at waist level with her head.

But the ropes were behind her, so Eliza would attempt to stretch out her long legs to get her feet on the ropes. A bit unorthodox but it would still count as a rope break, failing that Ms Harenwood would just attempt to punch Clyde's kneecaps.

Applying the side headlock, Clyde wrenched Eliza's head firmly, trying to wear her down before he follow up with a big move that could hopefully keep her down from the count. If his springboard kick put her down hard, a well placed piledriver might really put her out. Though... He did worry that using such a move might be overdoing it.

Well before he even got to decide on his next strategy, Eliza managed to use those legs of hers again, stretching them out behind her to touch the ropes!

"Rope break! Break the hold!" Commanded the ref girl as she tugged at Clyde's arm, who would look quite confused as she did this. "Huh? How com- Oh." He looked back and saw Eliza's foot on the ropes, prompting Clyde to smile down at his opponent.

"Yer' pretty dang crafty." He commented, but he didn't release her right away prompting the ref girl to start counting. "ONE! TWO!" If she got to Five it would be a disqualification, but Clyde was too busy tilting his head over his shoulder to check out Eliza's stretched out legs, giving her approving whistle, knowing the crowd and cameras were gonna eat that up.

"Oh sorry." He said like it was big deal, releasing her and just casually walking away, smirking at the crowd before shrugging at the cameras, keeping an ear out for Eliza.

"I like ya, missy. Yer plenty fun ta' wrestle with." He added after turned back to face her.

Eliza let out a grunt as she hit the mat once Clyde had dropped her, from her awkward position that was kinda expected. She then looked up with her head, a look that said "I'm not amused!" on her face. The whistle that Clyde did certainly didn't help to reduce her annoyance.

After lightly pounding the mat she stood back up, eyes closed and a sigh escaping her lips.
"I am glad you consider me a good wrestler Mr Gastin." Eliza stated, sweat going down her features. Aside from Clyde's attempts at getting to her head, Eliza had to admit he was as good as she heard. Or rather saw, recently she watched that match of him going up against Carmen. Rather brutal for her tastes, but still quite impressive.

Eliza had settled back into her stance, she was starting to feel a bit tired. She knew she needed to get some offense going or she might not be able to do anything at all. So Ms Harenwood would bounce off the nearby ropes and move forward, leaping into a ballet spin to attempt a headshot on Clyde with her heel.

Clyde tried hard to hold back his snickering as he saw the unamused look on Eliza's pretty face while she pounded the mat, she was plenty cute when she was mad. A little like Mercy, but far less scary!

"Well yeah. You've given me some trouble. If you weren't any good this match would have already been over by now." He added casually, giving credit where credit was due. Eliza was good, she was no bruiser like Carmen but, she was showing she didn't need to be either.

Either way, in came Eliza yet again, Clyde watched her bounce off the ropes and come right for him. He tensed at her ballet spin, moves like that were hard for him to anticipate, thus prompting Clyde to stagger back before Eliza suddenly unleashed her kick, prompting Clyde to lean back and weave from the kick, her heel going inches from his face, feeling the wind glide across his features.

"Damn." That was a close call and Clyde continued to back up, trying to circle around her.

Eliza had caught nothing but air with that spin, if Clyde had been hit with that odds were he'd be on his arse. That was one of her best moves, she didn't have a name for it yet though. She wasn't showing it but she was a bit worried that Clyde had so deftly dodged it, Eliza was rather good at poker because of her regal features.

But when Eliza had stopped her ballet spin, and saw Mr Gastin was moving and trying to get around her. Ms Harenwood would attempt to stop that, if only to try and keep the pace of the fight in her favour. Eliza would aim for a right legged kick to his midriff, if Clyde blocked or caught it Eliza would attempt to leap up with her other leg to hit the side of his head. She figured rather than have him attempt to circle her, it might be best to try and take the fight to him.

Swiftly evading Eliza's kick, Clyde intended to circle her and keep her trying to catch him, but the girl was quick and managed to stay on him, throwing a well placed kick for his mid-section. Clyde couldn't weave from that so he did the next best thing, turning his body and catching it with his arms as Eliza struck him, grunting from the impact but successfully catching her leg. He grinned immediately and was about about ready to follow up with a stiff clothesline before Eliza followed up on him instead.

Clyde didn't even get time to see it. Eliza's leg swung in hard and fast, catching him in the side of the head with a hard *SMACK* that made the crowd gasp as they heard the impact that rattled Clyde's brain, his head shaking on his shoulders before he dropped to his knees and flopped on his back in front of Eliza, his arms and legs spread out wide as his chest heaved up and down dramatically. Knocked near senseless!

Eliza decked Clyde hard with that leg to the side of his head, she was thankful she had managed to connect with that. If she missed or Clyde had dodged, she'd be on her belly and open for submission. But luck and swiftness won out for Ms Harenwood on that exchange, Clyde's world was clearly rocked.

Truth be told Eliza kinda expected Clyde to land atop her, but it seemed even when his head got rattled Clyde had the decency to not crash atop her. That fall would have been worth an Oscar, at least in Eliza's mind. She had fallen on her backside after that exchange, sitting up with her arms on the floor.

Thinking it was a good chance to attempt a pin, Ms Harenwood scrambled over to Clyde's fallen form. But in her haste she forgot to lift his leg up, take him away from the ropes or anything that could help her chances.

Left completely rattled by the kick, Clyde didn't look like he was getting up at all when Eliza went to cover him, the ref-girl slidiing in, this could be it! A major upset and chance for Eliza to make a huge impact right here by winning this match against a veteran!

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

And Clyde lifted his leg, putting his foot on the ropes to break the count, earning a rope break as he layed underneath Eliza, his head resting on her shoulder, breathing heavily.

Eliza jerked herself up and groaned out aloud, she almost had him! Eliza looked at Clyde and realised what he'd done, Ms Harenwood was inexperienced and she paid for it. She thought that kick might have knocked Clyde spark out, a couple of people who picked on her in the past can attest to that.

The ballroom girl was getting frustrated, she gave a sigh and tried to calm herself. The last thing she wanted was to make a mistake and have Clyde get the drop on her, she needed to try and wrap it up while he was reeling. And she had an idea on how to do just that.

Grabbing hold of Clyde's legs, Eliza hoped to drag him over to the middle of the ring. Then Ms Harenwood would go to a turnbuckle, take a deep breath and then scale up it. Getting her aiming right Eliza would take to the sky, hoping to use her powerful legs to squish Clyde with a double foot stomp. But all that moving about and the crowd yelling might be enough to wake up the cowboy before he got a surprise covered in a pair of stockings.

Blasted by the enziguri but managing to avoid the pinfall, Clyde panted on the mat, chest heaving up and down after getting laid out, trying to recover before he was eventually grabbed by the legs and dragged to the center of the ring, groaning slightly and turning his head side to side slowly as Eliza went to the corner and scaled the turnbuckle.

The next thing Clyde saw was Eliza on the turnbuckle, his eyes widened and then she jumped towards him, feet first. "Ha!" With all his strength, Clyde violently flopped himself onto his stomach and then his back, narrowly avoiding Eliza's legs at the last second!
