strategy. Anything goes, as long as it hurts. Fuck the ref. If you don't get disqualified, it's fair game. And if you do, you can still have a little fun. Everyone knows who really won the fight anyway.

Likes to use the ring, the ropes, the turnbuckles, and anything else she can get her hands on. Isn't interested in finesse, just loves to creatively smash her opponents and make them hurt.

physical. Tall, leggy, thin. Very fit and athletic, tough, but not remarkably powerful or agile. Keeps her hair very long and very white, sometimes with faint lavender-blue streaks through the length. Her eyes often have the unsettling quality of someone who is up to no good, they stare a little too wide and a little too long.

personality. Smiles when she shouldn't. Wears offensive t-shirts. Doesn't like people or care what they think, and doesn't feel bad about the things she does. Doesn't talk very much. Considers herself a nihilist. Doesn't think too hard about her self-indulgent destructive tenancies.


background. Born outside of Chicago. Father of Cuban descent, 2nd generation American. Parents divorced when she was very young. Her mom remarried to a hotshot lawyer aptly named "Ron". They moved in with him in his giant house in swanky Lincoln Park. She transferred to a new school where everyone dressed nicer than her and acted proper. She didn't like it.

Parents put her through counseling over and over as she grew up. Her mom would cry on the phone when she got the calls from the school vice principal about whatever she had done that day. They couldn't figure out how to make her stop acting out, but she didn't want to stop. They didn't understand that she liked to do the things she did.

In 5th grade, she pushed a girl down who was carrying her science project. It broke, so she finished it off with a kick and laughed about it. In 6th grade, she punched a fat boy in the face and broke his nose. His parents threatened to press charges, but Syd's parents convinced them not to. In 7th grade, she bit a teacher and made him bleed. She lit a girl's hair on fire. She stomped on someone's foot. She put glue in someone's hair, a lot of it. She broke the windows on every Mercedes in the parking lot. They threatened to send her away for that, but having rich parents really paid off.

Didn't go to college. Found out about pro wrestling, and that she'd be allowed to beat people up without consequences. Went for it right away, got beaten down by older, bigger, stronger, more skilled, more experienced girls, realized that she had to train. Used parent's money for gym fees.

Trained for two years, had some matches. Built a reputation for being ruthless with the crowd's little sweethearts. Parents told her they wouldn't pay for anything like that, told her to stop, told her she was embarrassing them and she needed to go to college.

She got a job at a gas station, working odd hours standing around behind a counter late at night looking miserable and trying to read Nietzsche when customers weren't bothering her. She worked to pay her bills and waited for that moment when she had a match and could do what she wanted to do. Training was okay, but stupid. She often had problems with other people at the gym. She wasn't a good partner.

Met Allie Parker at a show. Crazy little girl. She said she could get Syd into a promotion in Japan where she could get away with whatever she wanted and she wouldn't have to work a job. That was about all she needed to hear.
