Domino vs. Jewels

Domino's been taking a turn for the better of late, and he's just pumped to find he's been booked to wrestle another opponent. It's not a title match yet, but that'll come in time. All he has to worry about is keeping up the momentum!

This girl, though? He knows very little about her. There actually wasn't much information to be found about her on the roster. He has no idea what to expect of her, save for one thing.

'Jewels is kind've a funny name, isn't it?'

Domino reflects on this as he tugs off his shirt backstage, preparing for the match. Shorts are next to follow, leaving his sleekly-toned body mostly exposed, but for his black and white trunks, boots, and bracers.



'Then again, she's probably thinking the same of Domino.'

With a wry smile despite himself, the young model turns to wait just behind the curtain. His name is announced and the techno begins pumping through the stadium. The curtain is thrown back, and he leaps forward into the praise of an increasingly-favorable audience. A fist thrusts into the air in salute, his formerly wry smile replaced with a beaming, confident one.

Domino trots towards the ring, slapping high-fives and doling out the occasional hug to his more enthusiastic fans, right up until he reaches the apron. With a hop, he alights the toes of his boots on the edge, and he grabs onto the top rope. They're stretched, and he vaults himself up and over, landing with a light-footed bounce. From there, he moves back into his corner and waves again to the audience, ending with a wink to the camera.

The music ends, and he settles back into his corner, amethyst eyes glued to the entry ramp. 'Let's see what kind've girl I'm workin' with tonight...'

(Sorry, was busy and had no idea how Jewels's entrance would go, but here it is!)

Suddenly, there was a sound of a whirring engine coming from the side of the entrance and the people were all curious to see what it could be. In came a gold-painted limousine that was driving slowly to the middle before stopping. As "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga started to play, the door would slowly open to reveal a blonde girl who was wearing somewhat of a golden dress with white leggings and golden low-heeled boots. She also had a white-furred scarf and was drinking a glass of wine.

She would smile as she began to walk down the walkway as if she was a highly respected individual, smiling and winking at the men to make them blush. When the chorus came in, she would reach inside her chest to throw money in the air to the left and then to the right. People were already up and trying to grab whatever they can before someone else picks it up. She only laughs lightly as this sort of action almost always seems to work.

She still held her wine glass as she made her way through the ropes and walked towards her opponent.

Her smile gleamed in the light as she said, "Ahhh, so YOU are Domino, eh?" She took another sip of her wine before continuing. "You look like the other usual blokes I come across: lookin' dashing and dapper and ultimately have nothing to show for it. Would you like some wine?"

Domino shifts his weight between his boots anxiously, hands coming to rest along the top ropes at either side.

And then, limousine. 'The fuuuuuhhhh-?'

Dark purple eyes affix to her as she makes her way into the ring, tossing cash and sipping wine like a rap video. "That's a Hell of a way to make an appearance," he remarks to her in response. "And I don't drink. Definitely not before a match." Just the risk of getting sick from flipping all over is... so unappealing. But a wry smile plays on his lips, evidently not yet insulted. His right hand lifts to tap an index finger towards the bottom of her glass, encouraging it up towards her lips. "But you go ahead, drink up. It'll help ya cope with your loss tonight." He punctuates the tease with a wink.

The British blonde Jewels just chuckled when Domino encouraged her to drink the rest up. She would only swirl the wine in the glass as she said, "Isn't that the thing about wine? When you win, you celebrate with it. When you lose, you need it. IN this case, YOU may need it more afterwards." Taking another sip, she would then add, "To the victor...go the spoils." She would walk over to the side of the ring to put her wine glass to the side for later before showing a sly smile on her face.

Jewels then stretched out her arms a little as she said, "I trust that you will not hold back. Likewise, you'll give the audience a waste of their time and money. Luckily for you, I'll make a good show of it."

She waited for the bell to ring so the match can proceed.

"Tch," scoffs Domino as the girl departs. He rolls his shoulders to limber himself up just a little more, watching her do similar. "Hope you like the taste of your own words, beautiful. I'm gonna be spending the rest of the night crammin' 'em back down your throat!"

The referee girl waves an arm. *DING!*

Domino closes in to the center of the ring, the teen carrying himself with an energetic skip in his step. But it's not clumsy. With his lack of concealing clothing, it's easy to see his sleekly-toned body is tense, muscles spring-coiled at the ready to launch at this girl. And the moment she comes in close enough, he lashes out at her with an attempt to lock up, one hand going for her collar, the other at her shoulder.

As soon as the bell rings, Jewels would get into her own fighting stance as her eyes focused on Domino alone. She would maintain her smile as she says, "On the contrary, I can knock you down like a row of dominos while cramming my own words down YOUR throat. That IS why you are called that, right?"

Domino would come in to go for a lockup. One arm was going to the shoulder and the other was going to her collar. In turn, Jewels would attempt to grab at his arms to hold her own against him. If she can hold on, she would try to keep up her defense as best as she could against this guy, for she knows that he is definitely strong.

The two grapplers lace together, the male's streamlined arms flexing as he attempts to steadily overpower his blonde opponent. "It's a metaphor, ya schmuck," he murmurs to her amidst the struggle, his amethyst eyes affixed to her similarly unusual (or apparently!) yellows. The notion that they could be contact lenses hasn't even crossed his mind.

Just as their heads near to almost touching, Domino attempts to reverse the effort and yank her in as opposed to pushing out. His left knee thrusts up, hoping to catch her in the stomach. Not only to start off what he's hoping will become a lengthy beating, but to test the durability of the girl's abs and begin softening them up.

Jewels would still smirk as she continued holding her own strength against Domino's. As the arms started to tense, she would gaze into his eyes and they had a look of pride and dominance that she was willing to establish here.

Jewels then got pulled in and felt the knee to her gut. "UUGH!!" she would grunt as the pain was starting to come in, but she did her best to fight against it. Then she turned up a smirk and said, "Not bad." And then, she would attempt to give Domino a headbutt before a knee strike of her own to his stomach to see how he stands out.

Through that contest of strengths and wills, Domino can ascertain a couple things about this girl. The first is that she's stronger than her wiry frame would suggest. That's not unfamiliar to him, though. Edging out at around 160lbs., himself, not many would expect someone of his build to pull off powerhouse techniques. But a flipping piledriver is hard to argue with.

The second is that she's a defiant sort. Not the typical breed of defiance one finds in the ring, but maybe she just enjoys the conflict, the competition, or... he isn't too sure. But there's definitely some kind of spark latent behind those eyes. Domino's, while similar, is more of a determination. He has his eyes set on a target, and for now, this girl is the arrow.

Knee strikes stomach, and Domino... discovers a third thing as she speaks.

'Oh. She's resilient, too.' Blink. Blink. Wham.

Her head collides with his, earning a surprised, "Aack!" As his mind is still reeling, she sneaks in that additional strike to the midsection. His sleekly-toned six-pack absorbs the brunt of this attack for now, but he definitely felt her. "Unnf!" Eyes squeeze shut momentarily, and Domino refuses to turn the girl loose from the grapple. When they open again to meet her gaze, he states matter-of-factly, "No one wins with a headbutt."

The young model attempts to transition the hold by taking her left arm and circle-stepping, hoping to cinch her wrist against her midback, his other arm hooking under her chin from a reverse angle to begin applying pressure. This would have the added benefit for the audience of pushing the girl's chest out more, her back arched.

Jewels's headbutt had worked to her advantage, but then Domino got back into it. She would cringe as she felt her arm get twisted behind her back and have her chin pulled also. While her back was being arched to go with Domino thrusting out his chest, Jewels will grasp his arm with her other arm and say, "Better make a good show, deary. This federation doesn't get paid for you to try and make a woman look like a whore."

With that, she would try to reach her left foot back to try and go to the middle and trip Domino backwards. At the same time, Jewels would add some punching to that arm that's holding her neck to perhaps loosen it.
