[FWC] Peace Of Mind - Mikoto Kusanagi vs. Chris Morgan

Rousing into a state of semi-consciousness, the muffled boos of the audience would be overshadowed by the sounds of a much more clear sounding voice whispering into her ear. Although the encouraging words echoing in her mind would still remain incomprehensible, they remained imprinted onto her subconscious, somehow waking her back from her slumber. Mikoâ€s weary eyes slowly opened to make out the hazy image of the busty colossus posing victoriously over her. With that haunting image Mikoto remembered where she was and an overwhelming amount of regret washed over her.

It wasnâ€t until Chris started walking up the ramp that Mikoto managed to turn her fatigued body to her side. The priestess held her throbbing head in her hands, hiding her face as her eyes started watering up once she started to grasp the tragedy of her loss. Her own personal feelings blinded her in that split second decision and the consequences of that choice could haunt her for the rest of her career. Who knows if she would ever get a rematch against Chris? For all her bold declarations about avenging her lost friends and making Chris pay for her all the people she hurt, in the end she failed them all. All that pain and all that hard work, just to become another victim of the phenom.

The ref girl would drape Mikos arm over her and help escort the priestess backstage to the medical ward. On their way up the ramp the audience respectfully gave Miko a round of applause for putting up such a courageous fight, knowing that her performance was the closest anyone had come to defeating Chris. Still fighting back her tears Mikoto worked up a small smile and a wave to her fans. Appreciating their support, for some reason the priestess started to feel better already, something in the back of her mind assuring her that things were gonna be okay....
