Alignment: Reclusive Shaman – Focused at all times on overcoming her opponent, her no nonsense attitude toward life carries over into the ring. Barely cracking a smile, Mikoto can be painfully shy and quiet, blending into the environment and keeping her presence unknown until she feels her voice needs to be heard. Typically when coming to the defense of those who can't defend themselves, and only in the most extreme of bullying cases.

Strategy and Style – Although not exceptionally strong physically she is an expert at counter balancing her weight with her opponents into tricky takedowns, counterstrikes, and suplexing pinning predicaments with her judo background. Her high speed strikes can be debilitating and jarring given that she prioritizes sheer precision over obstinate brute force, although street-hardened brawlers and muscled beasts who can summarily power through her techniques and mow her down are the ones she struggles most against. Always respectful of her opponent, even offering advice at times, unless they prove themselves undeserving of it through cheap tricks or humiliating her in the ring.

Signature Moves :

1) Rising Sun - Upon applying a snug Full Nelson on an opponent hopefully too fatigued to counter or know what was coming, Mikoto will take a quick breath and haul them up into the air with a waistlock before seamlessly thrusting herself backward into a lightning fast Dragon Suplex. One that has her spine arched while remaining balanced on the tips of her toes with her adversary's backside in the air and the referee going for the pin count.

2) Kagura Dance - Usually the opening gambit of what can be a ceaseless volley of offensive suplexes and strikes, Mikoto takes an opponent's wrist from behind and twirls them around to face before tugging them towards her for a booming Rip-Cord Knee strike right to the side of their jaw.

Finishing Moves :

1) Kusanagi Drop  – Mikoto will wrap her arm around an opponent's neck in a front facelock and bear down on them with some aggressive tugs on the hold. All just to make her docile enough to reach between her opponents legs for a firm grip on her rear before hoisting her upside down and implanting them down on the canvas in a Northern Lights Bomb.

2) Susa-no-o – Standing far behind her opponent as she climbs to her feet, Mikoto will steady her breathing and calm herself as she waits in her battle stance for her to turn around. Once in sight Miko rear back and dash forward to deliver a devastating palm strike to her opponents abs. Miko has been known to break thick slabs of wood and even concrete with this strike.

Critical Finishing Moves:

1) Jōkai-Spirit Breaker - Coming into fruition after her climactic match with her best friend Suzumi. With an unparalleled sense of righteous empowerment and stalwart confidence in herself, Mikoto tucks an opponent's arm in between their legs and grabs their wrist from behind them, than hooking an arm behind their head and getting her grip in place before hauling an opponent up into the air. Seemingly about to perform a Pumphandle Brainbuster, but by bending her knee and having their head be power driven square onto it, the Indomitable Priestess performs her shrine maiden task of exorcising a foe of all evil intent...and their consciousnesses as well.

Personality: The added responsibilities of maintaining the family shrine as well as caring for her younger siblings have given her a serious and somber attitude towards life. Her unflinching determination ensures that she’s not afraid to put in as much effort as needed towards a goal. Unfortunately all that added burden in her life has made her quite humorless, growing to maturity quicker than others. She's also timidly shy and is quite the wallflower in most public situations.

However she still cherishes her family and has taken on a sort of mothering personality, speaking up when offering advice and guidance to anyone else she feels needs it, mostly younger wrestlers. She can tend to go overboard with her tutelage and advise giving to the annoyance of others, frequently being needed to be reminded to reign it in every once in a well. Although she was never part of the popular crowd, the friends she does make are true lifelong companions that she would give her right arm to protect.

Past/History: Born the oldest of three children, Mikoto’s family maintains one of the oldest shrines in Japan, dating back to the Edo period. Although simply being born into a shamanistic family didn’t outright qualify her to be a priestess, she was recognized early on to have the natural talent to perform the necessary rituals, such as the Kagura and the Kuchiyose, which is the act of being possessed by spirits and act as a vessel to speak to their loved ones as well as for other purposes. Her beloved father, who was head of the shrine, taught her all she needed to know in terms of shamanistic responsibilities. Regrettably he passed away when Mikoto was still young, leaving her and her sickly mother to head the family.

Caring for her younger siblings as well as supporting the shrine forced Miko to grow up quickily, but despite her best efforts finances for the family were dwindling. Her luck would start to turn when she noticed the hefty pay day given to amateur wrestlers in the Wrestle Angel organization. Honing her skills through regimented training made her quite the competitor, though how she was able to maintain her schoolwork, priestess responsibilities and burgeoning wrestling career is a testament to her work ethic. Befriending the other wrestlers gave Miko a chance to act her age again and have some fun for once in her life, although it wouldn’t last forever as Wrestle Angel closed down due to rumored mishandling of its finances. Without the extra income Mikoto and her mother had no choice but to send her younger siblings to distant relatives spread around Japan. Heartbroken by her family’s separation, Mikoto made it her goal to earn enough money to bring her family back together. Coming across a flier for AFW, she enrolled with those hopes in mind.

Thanks to a gargantuan donation and office proceedings helmed by her trusted friend in Chris Morgan, Mikoto's shrine has now been deemed a public landmark in the eyes of the Japanese government and is now in no danger of foreclosure. In fact quite the opposite. And given that it's now a teeming tourist destination and has begun generating income, Mikoto's shattered family was brought back together again thanks to it's funds. All o f her siblings were now contributing to it's restoration and maintenance, including her ailing mother who has since recovered at practically the same timing as her shrine. Although with her primary compulsion for wrestling now having been solved, Mikoto funds herself in the perplexing state of missing what she left behind and a certain nagging uncertainty of were to go next in her life. And since wrestling seeming to be the world where she finds the answers to her issues...

Fun Facts:
1) Mikoto is well aware of the irony involving her nickname and her inherited profession, being reminded and even teased for it growing up. Irritated when someone asks her about it, it’s in your best interest not to bring up that subject.

2) Mikoto is painfully out of date in terms of the latest technological advancements. If you give her a computer tablet to use she’ll stare at in confusion, acting as if it’s a completely alien device.

3) When out on the town with friends Mikoto will have to put in a concentrated effort to relax, drink up, and enjoy herself. Also, Mikoto shows great pride in her lengthy and luxurious hair, though she'll admit it gets in the way at times.

4) Mikoto has since parted ways with first boyfriend Chuang due to reasons completely amicable. Though due to the fact that the relationship even happened at all she's now been given new hope that even someone as shy and introverted as her can still that special someone.
