Hawkeye vs. Army - Won't Back Down

Fell for it, right on her face - the blow connected, full power, and he was impressed that she could take it and still stand. Even so, that didn't mean he'd give her a chance to recoup - he might not have been the best in the skill department, not an ace like Carmen, but even he knew what to do when your opponent starts backing away - go in, hard and heavy.

Army rushed forward and tried to close the gap before she had a chance to throw another kick, lashing out and sending a hard right, straight into her guard. "Careful, now, don't want to lose a tooth."

Hawkeye got her arms up in time to avoid taking another blow to the face, though the force of his blow still sent her back a bit, the woman sidestepping, trying to avoid getting trapped in the corner or against the ropes.

After a couple sidesteps, she quickly dropped and lashed out with her leg, trying to strike her boot against his knee!

The blow slammed into her guard, clearly did some damage, but she kept her guard up like a pro - definitely a step above the average Tension girl. She was even in good enough shape to give as good as she got - her kick slammed into his knee, slowing down his advance and driving him back a couple of steps.

"Nice, nice." He gritted his teeth and lunged forward, trying a kick of his own - a mirror image of her own kick, only aimed at her upper thigh instead of the knee. He wasn't about to join the karate class, but he could throw a few of them, himself. "Gonna take a guess, here - MMA? Getting that vibe off of you."

Getting up from her kick cost her a second, which the upright Army made her pay for, landing a kick to her upper thigh, causing her to stumble a little before she could right herself.

"Damnit...uh...some MMA, some military training..."

She said, getting a bit ruffled, clearly wincing after that kick. Moving in, she faked a step to the left, before moving to the right, swinging a right hook towards Army's chest.

He immediately brough his guard up when she went to the left, expecting Carmen's little prank to start paying off - he braced for a shot to his left. But Hawkeye earned her name; the girl had a sharp eye, and she quickly switched sides ad took advantage of his move, swinging a hook into his right side, instead, the blow landing square on his chest, he tiny fist lancing into him.

He ground his teeth at the clean shot, but she was inside, now - not the nicest place to be with him. He swung around and reached out, trying to catch her in a clench and start forcing her towards the corner - once he had her there, once he had her trapped, there'd be no escape.

"Crap!"

She yelled, caught in the clinch and being forced backwards, struggling against him until her back hit the corner, causing her eyes to widen as she was caught.

Trying to escape, she struck with a couple low powered shots toward his midsection, unable to get the momentum needed to do major damage.

Success, success.

Hawkeye was still in a position to throw some blows, and she did, rattling off a few shots to his midsection - weak ones, ones that wouldn't have done much good even if she was in a prime position to throw them, and she sure as hell wasn't.

He was, though, and he planned on demonstrating

Deciding it was time to start mixing things up and get hardcore in this hardcore match, he held her tight by the shoulder and shot his knee straight up, crashing into her stomach with piston force and precision - that would wake her up, and he had plenty more where that came from. "Little too rough? Barely getting warmed up over here; keep up, rubia."

Amry's knee plowed into her stomach, actually lifting the wide eyed Hawkeye off of her feet, the smaller woman falling onto her knee's gasping, spittle flying from her mouth at the force of the blow. If she had been using a mouth guard, it would have fallen out.

Panting heavily, Hawkeye tried to regain some kind of breath, knowing she was at a major disadvantage.

Doubled over, panting hard, clearly in pain - Hawkeye was aching, looking in dire need of a break. There was time when he would've done the gentlemanly thing and backed off, gave her some room to breath and recover, being sporting.

That time was before he came to the AFW.

He reached down and tried to grab her by the neck, lifting her straight up with one hand and letting her dangle there for a few moments while he squeezed. Might as well take advantage of the No DQ stipulation.

Hawkeye's eyes went wide again, being grabbed and lifted up by her throat, Army's hand gripped tight around her neck.

"Grgghh..agkkk"

She gagged, her feet actually leaving the mat, eyes wide with panic. She began swinging her legs, trying to smash her boots into his stomach!
