Big Brawl 2: Brawl Harder

For Asami, her month off consisted of as much rest as she could allow herself. However, eventually, events drew her back into the streets, when she had a run in with a pair of French martial artists who had attacked people in order to draw out the vigilante. Luckily a Tension wrestler by the name of Dmitri had been there, evening up the odds and allowing the capture of the French duo to take place. In the fight, Asami had received several blows into her midsection. Although the hits hurt more than she expected, the pain was within tolerable levels for the Japanese woman. As such she didn't see the harm of taking on a house show....although it wound up being against Dixie, of all people.

*People had certainly gotten their money worth.* Asami thought to herself, as she stood slightly bent, watching the cowgirl. *You wouldn't think the both of us were coming off of the bench, as back and forth as this has been.*
Asian martial arts skills and pure speed clashed against Texan born strength and grappling ability, in a see-saw contest that left Asami near exhaustion. Sweat glistened on her skin as she readied herself, seeing Dixie push off the ropes.
"Of course you are, 'darlin'! It's all you know!" Asami called back, imitating Dixie's southern accent as she said the word 'darling'.

Running forward, she ducked under Dixie's clothesline, heading for the ropes. Bouncing off of them, Asami grinned as she thought of an idea that would really needle Dixie. As she came back towards the Texan, Asami drew her arm back, about to swing away with a clothesline of her own!

Dixie charged in towards Asami, confident that she could floor the ninja with her powerful clothesline, confident that she could smash into her friend and rival and bring her down.

Her confidence was misplaced, however.

As she neared Asami, the ninja suddenly went right under her arm, causing Dixie to stagger forward in confusion. She blinked once, then twice, turning slowly back towards Asami. Her eyes widened as the ninja neared her, but before she could react, Asami's own clothesline smashed right into Dixie's chest. The tired cowgirl was floored, dropping to the mat as the attack connected, ending up flat on her back with half-closed eyes.

Asami was right. Getting hit by the ninja's clothesline did needle Dixie. The cowgirl was going to have to pay her back for that...once she got back up, of course. For now though she seemed out of it, looking through half-closed eyes up towards the bright lights above.

After delivering the leaping clothesline, Asami had fallen to the mat. Rolling onto her back, the ninja tucked her legs to her chest and kicked out, using the momentum to kip up to her feet. The crowd cheered the acrobatic move, while the Japanese woman studied the fallen cowgirl.

Deciding on a course of action, Asami headed to the turnbuckles nearest Dixie. The Asian only hopped up slightly after putting her back to the corner, climbing onto the top rope with a series of hops. Although she wasn't willing to entrust her battered midsection to hold up delivering her top rope twisting moonsault finisher known as the Flash at Sunset, Asami didn't want to have the fans leave without seeing some feat of high flying shenanigans. So she stood on the top turnbuckle, waiting for Dixie to get back to her feet. Then she would give a loud call of "Hey cowpoke!" to get Dixie's attention and turn towards her. Following that, Asami would hurl herself from her perch, fists knotted together to deliver a top rope double axe handle smash across Dixie's forehead!

As Asami made her way up to the top of the turnbuckle, Dixie rolled over, slowly starting to push her way up to her head, shaking her head to clear out her cobwebs. As usual, Asami was just as tricky and clever of an opponent as she always was, managing to one-up Dixie and bring the cowgirl down. But Dixie was made of tough stuff, and she wasn't about to give in yet. Not against Asami, and definitely not on her first night back in the ring.

As she got back up on her feet, she heard Asami calling to her, and slowly turned in her direction, looking upwards towards her. Her eyes widened as she saw Asami perched atop the corner, and she knew she only had mere moments to act.

As Asami leaped off towards her, Dixie took two steps forward, planting her feet firmly against the mat, bracing herself as the ninja dropped towards her. At the same time, she opened her arms up, extending them towards Asami as she fell. She was trying to catch Asami as the ninja tried to attack her, hoping she could grab the ninja in midair and pull her in close and tight against her body, trying to pull her into a sudden, surprising bearhug!

Asami was already committed to her attack, sailing through the air as Dixie suddenly rushed forward, her arms extended wide to catch her. For some insane reason, the Japanese woman was reminded of an old American horror movie, Alien. In particular, a scene in which a man climbing down a dark narrow air vent comes to the bottom of his ladder, and then turns, only to find the movie's title monster waiting for him, throwing open it's arms to grab the doomed victim. Granted, Dixie would make a very voluptuous and sexy space beast, but Asami felt a fraction of that sort of terror as she had no choice but to fly into the American's waiting arms.

The Texan's right shoulder buried itself into the left side Asami's stomach as she came down on it. The Japanese wrestler felt her eyes go wide as a brief wave of agony washed over her entire midsection as she felt something give in the laceration running along her side. Through out the match, Asami had done a good job at protecting her left side, and before that, during her street fight against Marco and Elise, the Kunoichi had been lucky enough to not have any significant damage done to her midsection. But her luck had apparently taken a turn for the worse. For Dixie began to apply her strength in a basic but effective bearhug.

*I think the stitches just popped, which means Dixie's about to squeeze the blood right out of my body!* Asami thought in a panic, adding inanely to herself, *I'd just die of embarrassment if I wound up bleeding all over her.*
Before Dixie could begin to really lay in the pressure, Asami quickly tapped out against the taller woman's shoulder. The ref, one who had officiated matches involving both women, gave a surprised look at the ninja's tapping to a basic hold before it could really be locked in, but did her job, calling for the bell.

For her part, once released, Asami would roll out of the ring, making a hasty path for the back, not even bothering with any of her banter or somewhat witty comments. Her hand was pressed to her side. Although the black of her outfit hid any apparent signs of the bleeding that had started, a few drops of her blood were on the canvas where she had rolled out of the ring....

As Dixie caught Asami, she wondered how long it would take the ninja to submit. Then she wondered if she actually had enough strength left to fully commit to the bearhug, to really make it hurt for Asami. Her thoughts were a mess, the cowgirl wondering if this was the right move to make, when suddenly...

Dixie blinked. She felt Asami's tapping against her shoulder, she heard the sound of the bell ringing, but she wasn't quite sure just what was going on. Naturally, she released her hold, letting Asami drop from her arms, tilting her head curiously at the woman.

Before she could even ask Asami what was wrong though, the ninja took off, rolling straight out of the ring and heading up the ramp and out of sight. Dixie blinked again in confusion, dropping to the mat herself, taking a seat to try and recover a little as she thought about just what had happened. She looked around, hearing the crowd cheering for her and her win, but that only made things more confusing for the Texan. Surely Asami wasn't scared of getting hurt or anything, was she? That was completely out of character for her!

Dixie had no idea what had happened, and she didn't like it, not one bit.

She sighed though, and started to rise back to her feet, and as she did so she just happened to glance to the side, noticing the drops of blood that were soaking into the canvas. She paused for a moment, thinking over things again, slowly piecing the puzzle together.

She was holding her side...there's blood on the mat...just like...no. No, it can't be...

The realization hit Dixie like a sack of bricks. She knew just what was going on, and she definitely didn't like it. With a frown crossing her face, the Texan moved to slide out of the ring herself, wondering just what she should do with the new knowledge she had acquired, as she headed up the ramp and out of sight.

Asami crashed into the locker room door, shouldering it open. Seeing how it was at the end of a house show the locker room had only a few of the lower ranked jobber types who were getting their stuff and about to leave. They looked at Asami in astonishment.
"Get out!" the ninja screamed, shocking them into action, grabbing their gear.

One paused at the door.
"Should we get the doc-" she began.
Before she could complete the sentence, a small, travel sized bottle of shampoo came hurtling at her face, striking her between the eyes, guided by Asami's aim. Staggering out of the room with a cry of pain, the woman's running footsteps faded.

Hurriedly, Asami stripped off her costume to get a better look at her side. Topless, in the black pair of t-backed panties she wore under the costume, she turned towards a mirror.
"Oh....chikusho!" she cursed in Japanese as she caught sight of the wound, throwing in it's English translation of "Fuck!" afterwards in a louder cry. Also, sight of the wound for some reason caused it to hurt more for Asami, as if knowing about the damage made her aware of the pain she should be feeling.
While only one of the stitches that lined her side had been popped, blood was now running down her side in a small stream.
Opening her bag, she drew out a large, square shaped bandage and a roll of medical adhesive tape.
"No..no..nonono...not now...." she said in a state of panic. If this got out, questions would have to be asked. How did this happen? Why didn't you inform the staff about the injury? A myriad of questions. The lies would be hard to keep track of, and eventually somebody would have to put two and two together.
Her thoughts scattered and unfocused, Asami lost her grip on the medical supplies in her hands, and they fell to the floor. Instinctively, she bent to pick them up, but then the pain in her side increased to a warning spike of agony, forcing her back to a standing position.
Her back to the door, Asami leaned against the wall, pressing her forehead to the concrete as waited for the pain to subside back to a dull ache instead of the sharp stabbing pain she was feeling....

Dixie quickly made her way to the locker room. She, of course, had managed to put two and two together. Despite what a lot of people thought, she wasn't stupid, and she could see obvious things when they were right in front of her face.

When she reached the locker room, she stood in the doorway for a moment, looking at Asami from behind. She frowned, realizing that her fears were confirmed, then softly called out towards the ninja, keeping her voice low, not too loud, so as not to surprise her too much or startle her.

"So...when were you gonna tell me, girl?" she asked, her eyes tracing slowly over Asami's backside, the blonde stepping slowly into the room towards her. "When were you gonna let me in on this, huh?"

When Dixie's voice sounded out from behind her, Asami froze for a moment in pure shock. Luckily, she was facing away from the Texan, and her panicked look was only witnessed by the wall.
*I've gotta get outta here....quick start talking! Tell her something that'll set her at ease and then get to the infirmary!* the Japanese woman mentally told herself.

"Hey, Dixie!" she said, trying to keep her voice even as the topless Asami turned back around to face the blonde. "Tell you about....oh you mean this!"
She gestured down at the gash and it's busted stitch, while trying to turn slightly and move it out of Dixie's sight.
"Yeah, I guess it was dumb to think I could wrestle with this." she said in a tone of voice that was suspiciously light hearted. "I had a bit of an accident working at my parent's restaurant. I mean really, me, the wrestler who is supposed to be all ninja-like, fumbling around with a kitchen knife when trying to cut meat? Hellooo Asami..."
She lightly bonked herself on the forehead, while throwing in a laugh that was a little too loud and enthusiastic.

Asami took a towel off a nearby rack and wrapped it around her waist twice, looking to cover the wound. Unwittingly, the effect wound up emphasizing her breasts, putting them even more on display as the ninja looked down on herself. However the red that started to spread through the part of the white towel covering the gash was anything but sexy.

Dixie rolled her eyes at Asami's poor attempts at coming up with an excuse, stepping further into the room with her, shutting the door behind her. "Come on, girl. How dumb do you think I am? Really?"

She moved closer towards Asami, unable to take her eyes off of the quickly reddening towel that was wrapped around her. "A better question. Why are you doing it? Why are you out on the streets trying to fight a bunch of punks?" She glanced up towards Asami's face, disappointment in her eyes. "Don't you know how damn dangerous that is? You could get really hurt out there!"
