My school prom is on the 16th of May, I tried to get a date to ask out to even asking my ex whom I still love so much and am still great friends with, but I wasn't able to get a date for it so I'm just gonna go along by myself and see what the hell happens there.

I've never been to a prom before, and since this is my final year of school, I might as well go to this one and try to do something there.

Writing one thing a lot will do that to you. I've heard it said that if there's a common way to describe something, try your very best to avoid it.

Just using synonyms for the same word isn't all there is to description, though.

For some reason, the thing that comes to mind is Allen Ginsberg from "Howl", when he uses the term "angel-headed hipsters". It's a very strong descriptor, but without a fancy adjective.
