Speed vs Powah! Adrian Kytes vs Cecilia Northman

"Fun?" Adrian said in disbelief as she scrambled to her feet "I feel like I'm fighting for survival here, when I was only supposed to be proving that I could handle things on my own, some job I'm doing there." she grumbled, taking heavy breaths as she got back to a stance that would allow her to dodge any charges.

"Your doing great Adrian, haven't had a fight this tough in a long while...as far for doing things on your own, don't really know what you mean but, what i know when it comes to doing things on your own is, all you can and should do is give it your all." Cecilia said before she began inching her way forward, "Ready?" Cecilia said, waiting for Adrian's response before she would charge at the cosplayer attempting to grab a hold of her and grappler with her.

"uh... thanks?" She said nervously. Cecilia didn't know about the problems she was having and it wasn't fair on her to just rant about them to the Swede. Cecilia din't know and didn't need to know what the cosplayer was feeling.

Adrian settled down into more of a match feel, trying to focus on things that could give her confidence without having Rebecca at ringside, she one her first match by herself, that was something at least to think about as she dodged Cecilia's charge and tried to wrap her arms around her for a waist lock, trying to actually gain some initiative instead of having to react to being pinned down all the time.

A smirk formed on Cecilia's face as Adrian managed to dodge her charge and move in behind her, locking her arms around Cecilia's waist, "Dammit.." Cecilia said under her breath as Adrian locked her in, Shed tried taking her hands and place them on Adrian's arm, attempting to push and pry her arms off her.

"Just want to let you...know...as far as proving things on your...own, to me you have proven more than enough...." Cecilia said to Adrian as she struggled to try and get out of the hold, she didn't know to who Adrian was trying to prove she could do things on her own, or if she tried to prove things to herself, but in Cecilia's eyes she had already proven it, more than enough.

"Thanks Cecilia." Adrian said to the strong Scandinavian woman she was struggling to keep hold of "That kind of means a lot to me." she whispered as though she was embarrassed to say it. "Still gonna win though!" She grunted as she allowed her arms to be pried off Cecilia's waist only to try and wrap them around her head as she dropped straight down for a sleeperslam, hoping that would give her a bit of momentum

"Well see about that.." Cecilia responded to Adrian's claim that she would win, Cecilia managed to pry of Adrian's arms off her waist, but she soon found them around her head, before she was pulled back and down, "Aaagh!" Cecilia shouted as her head was slammed down into the mat hard.

She rolled herself up a bit and rolled to her side, both hand holding at the back of her head.

"Ha..." Adrian panted as she got up to her knees, a smile on her face for the first time in the match since the beginning. "Now let's try this..." she grunted as she rolled Cecilia over on her front, grabbing her arms to twist them behind her back before trying to bury her head in between the Swede's shoulder blades and flip her self over into a bridge, holding both of Cecilia's arms in one hell of a twist on a double chicken wing hold.

Cecilia didn't know what to expect when Adrian rolled her onto her front and took a hold of both of her arms, when she buried her head in between her shoulder blades though things changed, Cecilia felt pain in her shoulder and arms, "Shit...things turned bad fast" Cecilia thought to herself, before Adrian flipped over into a bridge, "YAAAAAGHHH!!!" Cecilia wailed in pain as she was placed in the double chicken wing hold, she used her legs to try and pull herself back and to the ropes, didn't take more than a second to realize that wasn't going to work as she tired to pull herself away from Adrian the pain got even more intense.

"Hey!" Adrian shouted as Cecilia's pull almost made her lose balance. It was a difficult hold to keep on, her head was upside down making her dizzy but when she let go and brought herself standing up, at least some damage had been done so the powerhouse wouldn't be able to throw her around as much. Cecilia panted heavily as she laid on the ground, moving her arms as little as possible as she tried to roll over and get to a seated position at least, she looked over at Adrian, her face still showed signs of pain, "Don't tell...that...whole proving...yourself was a trick...with..moves like that...you don't have to...prove anything" Cecilia said with a smirk on her face, her arm and shoulders throbbed in pain.
