The Bunny and the Bear

"Hey... It's that same girl again..." "Yeah, but she looks pretty beat up compared to the last time we saw her..." "She's coming this way... Quick! Let's hide from her..." These are the whispering words of some fellow wrestlers, hiding behind the walls of the hallway's, as an odd-looking girl came limping down in one of the corridors. Her red eyes scanning the area through her glasses, she grumbled under her breath as she can easily notice other people watching her.

This girl was wearing a gray hoodie, only having the very bottom button buttoned up. Her hoodie is not just some regular hoodie though. Her hood has the shapes of bunny ears extended from it, with two red dots and a black dot in between located near the front of the hood. All of that combined resembles an appearance of a bunny's face. Underneath her hoodie, she was wearing a black bikini, the string of her bra in front of her chest loosely tied. She also wore a pair of black thigh-length stockings, and apparently, no shoes.

What's more, she was pretty injured. She had white bandage cloths wrapped around her forehead and her entire mid-section, with some white patches on her cheeks to cover the bruises on her face. Apparently, she got into a lethal fight with someone, but even so, she doesn't seem bothered by it. She was having trouble walking down the hallway, just taking small steps, as if she was limping like an old lady.

Minney had decided to come to the AFW and join the ranks as a professional wrestler. Technically she had come back and technically she had been on the roster. And technically she had a win less record. The red head did not understand and part of the reason she came to the AFW was to correct that situation. She couldn't have someone running around with her name and making her look bad! The other part, the part she couldn't explain, was that she felt compelled to join the AFW. She felt almost liked she belonged even though there were nothign but strangers here and she didn't know the first thing about wrestling.

Either way, she made her way down the hall. She was wearing some shorts and pastel buttoned up shirt that wasn't very buttoned. A bikini bra underneath. Her messy hair was in a headband that had a little bear on it and she was carrying a little duffle bag that looked like it was very long tube-shaped bear. Or more accurately a brown dufflebag with a bear's face on one end and little bear legs on the other. She looked down and sighed. "Maybe I'm getting too old for all this?" She said. Though it looked like she was talking to no one, there was a stuffed rabbit sicking out of the bag, looking like it was going for a ride. "Ah.." Minney blushed. "O-of course I couldn't outgrow you Kousagi-sama." She whispered and blushed before looking around to see if anyone had saw her.

That was when she noticed a rather grim looking girl coming down the hallway. Worse yet, the girl was bandaged up and seemed past the point of injuries that should keep her out of bed. Minney stepped forward, looking down, blushing a little bit as she tried to figure out what to do. Swallowing a bit she pushed forward and when she got within talking distance, she perked up. "Um... Excuse me? Is everything alright?" She called out to Veronica.

Veronica continued limping forward. At one point, she caught a girl looking very curiously at her. She gave her a very cold-hearted glare, before she returned looking towards the front. She immediately stopped when suddenly, a girl appeared right in front of her. Looking down at this girl with red eyes that seemed full of hatred, she gave her a sneer when she heard Minney's concerns for her. Who still does that anyways, especially to her? And with all those bear-themed items, she couldn't help but get extremely annoyed by her appearance.

"... Shut up, and move out of my way, unless you want to get hurt..." The bunny girl replied in an icy manner, before attempting to walk forward and just shove her out of the way. However, her eyes caught a glimpse of a bunny doll in the bear duffle bag, and immediately, her eyes widened, before she collapsed to her knees and one of her hands is clutching her forehead. "A-Argh!..." She grunted out, almost appearing as if she was in pain. Closing her eyes tightly, she seems to suddenly caught a massive headache.

"H-huh!?" Minney said at the girl's surly attitude. She obliged, of course. but still wasn't sure what was going on. "Oh! I'm sorry!" She said. "I just figured, it .." She paused and let out a sigh, shrinking a bit more. "I'm sorry..." She muttered again. Had she insulted the girl by offering help? She looked in pain though. Wasn't she supposed to be that way?

But when she gasped, Minney's eyes widened even more. "What did I do!?" She exclaimed, thinking she had further injured Veronica. She reached over and held onto Veronica's arm. "A-are you ok!? Should I go get help?" This wasn't a very good way to start off her time in AFW, having someone get hurt while she was just talking to them!

Veronica was apparently still in pain, before her grunts suddenly stopped as soon as Minney tended to her, and she opened her eyes. Not to her narrow eyed state where she assumed the appearance of a serious girl. Her eyes were fully opened, filled with innocence in them. She blinked twice, and looked around. "H-Huh?... Where am I?" She muttered, before she finally noticed Minney in front of her. "AH!" She suddenly screamed in panic with widening eyes as she fell down onto her butt, looking at this young girl with a surprised look on her face. "W-Who are you!?" She blurted out as she pointed one finger towards her, before she caught sight of the bunny doll.

"OH! A BUNNY!" The bunny girl then suddenly squealed as she got onto her knees and crawled over to Minney's bunny in a hurry. "AWWWW!!!! HE'S SO CUTE-OWOWOW!!!..." As one hand clutched her stomach and the other caressing her forehead. "Ugh... Why am I in so much pain?..." She said, not fully aware of the injuries that she currently have on her body.

Minney's eyes widened as Veronica began to suddenly change. "Oh! Um.. Well, you're..." Minney blushed. She didn't even get the girl before hand and now she couldn't figure out the personality switch either. "Well.. I'm um.." She began but was quickly becoming shy. When Veronica fell over, Minney gasped. "Are you ok!?" She said bending over. This wasn't a situation where she knew what to do at all. But suddenly her eyes widened. "Bunny/" She said and turned and looked at her stuffed rabbit. She then blushed deeply. "S-sorry!" She said thinking that it was a childish thing to have out int he open.

But Veronica blurted out even more. "H-hey!" Minney cried. "Don't hurt yourself!" As if by reflex, she pulled out the rabbit and handed it to Veronica. Minney turned her head slightly again. "UIm.." She said handing the rabbit to Veronica. "Maybe you should go to the nurse? Please don't try and exert yourself. Minney then grinned. "Kousagi-sama doesn't want to see you in pain either!' She said as she grinned, still blushing as she mimicked the rabbit actually talking as she held it in front of Veronica.

The girl cutely looked up at the bunny doll. "K-Kousagi... -sama?..." She muttered as she slowly reached for the rabbit, ignoring the pain she is currently suffering to the best of her ability. She grabbed the rabbit and innocently looked at it, before she softly hugged it, turning her head to the side and embracing it as she closed her eyes. "Feels so nostalgic..." The bunny girl then gently looked back up at Minney with a grin.

"Well... Maybe I should, but I suddenly feel better... Hahhah..." The girl said as she slowly stood up, gently holding Kousagi-sama with her left arm. "A-Ah! I forgot to introduce myself! U-Uh... My name is Victoria! Nice to meet you! But you can call me Vi-chan!" Victoria hastily said as she bowed down in front of Minney as a sign of respect.

"Yep!" Minney said with a smile as the girl looked at it. "Actually." She blushed a little. "I don't really remember how he got that name. He's kind of just always had it. And... I don't even know where I got him from either. He's just kind of, always been at my side." Isn't that kind of weird?" She encouraged Victoria to hold onto the rabbit. "Heh, yeah." She said in response to Victoria's comments about nostalgia.

"Oh, that's great. I guess Kousagi-sama just kind of has that affect on people." She said as she smiled brightly. Minney's eyes widened as Victoria tried to stand up. "Oh, let me help!" She said and assisted Victoria to her feet. Minney bowed at Victoria's introduction. "It's.. it's great to meet you, Vi-chan!" She said and smiled. "My name's Minerva but um... you can just call me Minney, you know... like the mouse? eheh.." Minney blushed and then turned her head. "Most people end up calling me Mine-chan, I never really liked that name though, it sounds kind of childish."

Minney suddenly turned and looked at Victoria. "Vi-chan..." She regarded the girl thoughtfully. 'You aren't a wrestler here are you!?" She suddenly gasped. "Y-you're too cute to be wrestling!" She suddenly leaned in and hugged Victoria. "You didn't get injured wrestling did you!"?" She pulled away to shoulder length and looked into Victoria's eyes with concern. "Didn't you're friends tell you this was a bad idea?!"

Victoria stood straight back up. "Nice to meet you too Minney." However, when she heard her alternate name, she quickly pouted in response. "Awww! But that sounds so cute! I think it's great!" Then moving onto the next subject, the bunny girl blinked when Minney started asking if she was a wrestler. Taking a breath to answer, she was cut off and heard the comment about how she was too cute to wrestle. "U-Uh... I don't think I even wrestle-AH!" She yelped in alarm as Minney merely hugged her by surprise.

Victoria was a bit flabbergasted by this suddenness, looking into Minney's eyes with a nervous look. It is as if she was getting scolded by her own mother. "U-Uh... I-I actually don't know where I got these wounds... I-I didn't know I'm even a wrestler..." She said with a confused look, tilting her head to the side cutely. "Are you sure what you're saying is true? I don't remember anything at all about this wrestling business..." She said as she was under the assumption that Minney knows she's a wrestler.

Minney smiled at Victoria and reached out and ruffled the girl's hair. "Maybe you can call me that, since you're so cute." She then paused. "It's weird. You kind of remind me of someone but I'm pretty sure I've never met you before." She then grinned. "I'd certainly remember a cutie like you." She said and then blushed.

But Victoria's words seemed weird. "Hey..." She said. "That's pretty weird. I just joined this league . I haven't even had a match yet but They keep trying to tell me that I wrestled here a lot. I checked the tapes and those girls were like imposers or something. They didn't seem anything like me at all. Who would use my name and wrestle as me? Isn't that weird?" She then let out a sigh. "I need to restore my lost honor. That's why I am here now. I don't know anything about wrestling though." She said as she rested her head against Victoria and sighed. "Actually, I'm kind of scared, Vi-chan." She admitted.
