AFW Friction Top Ten Rankings!

Over the screens of the AFW closed circuit television appeared the face of the Friction General Manager Lukretia Von Creuzfeldt appeared.

"Good evening everyone. I am pleased to bring you some vunderbar news sweeping over ze AFW. Ve have decided to implement a ranking in ze AFW to see just who ze best of ze best is. Zose who believe zat zey are ze cream of ze AFW crop should be most interested in zis. Ve are alvays looking for ze best competition. Ze intricacies of ze rules vill be laid out below. Good luck meine fraulines."

Top Ten Ranking Rules

The #1 person is the current title holder. Essentially everyone else is is in line for the title.
Now, you can't just challenge the champion, you have to work your way up through the rankings. But we don't want to make the climb to the top a complete grind. You can challenge anyone who is one or two ranks ahead of you.

For example #6 can challenge #5 or #4. Basically if you win, you trade spots with the person you beat. If you loose then you fall back that many spots. For example if #4 challenged #2 and won, they would be the new #2 and #2 would fall back to #4. However, if #4 challenged #2 and lost, then they would be pushed back to #6 and #'s 6 and 5 would move up a spot.

We'd like to adjust the Top Ten Rankings every month or so. As close to it as possible. If you're in a match (as long as it's moving along at a fair pace) then your spot will be safe. Otherwise if you're not in a match and haven't been in a cranking match with that character recently then That character will slowly start to slip in the rankings. (It's a way to make sure that if people go inactive they don't hold a spot hostage but that if they come back they aren't completely screwed.)

As we said before, We're looking to fill out the top ten
Those looking to be apart of the Top Ten Rankings must be the best of the best. If you think one of your characters is worthy of joining the top ten then please contact an admin and we'll look your fighter over. Once the top Ten Rankings are full to ten, The requirements for getting a shot to enter the rankings will lighten up a bit and mostly consist of beating either the #9 or #10 ranking fighters to gain entry.
