It was another quiet night in the city. It was always quiet in this part of town. Worn down and forgotten in the shadows of the rebuilt downtown metropolis, the area now provides shelter for the once homeless of the city. Utilities are suprisingly usable for the area though. However, the power grid isn't completely stable in the area, but it's stable enough that it's not completely dark. In the flickers of the few working streetlights along the block, one can make out an old stadium just as forgotten, but not in as bad of shape as the homes around it, suprisingly. It's definitely seen better days, as it's missing most of the seats on the inside, the railings are rusted, there's no glass on the doors, and the concession stands are gutted. The stadium is now home to an old back-up generator in case the power grid fails for an extended period of time. There are lines running out of the domed stadium in different directions to connect it to the city's old powergrid in the area. It's not enough for everyone to use, sadly, but it's enough to power the hospital down the street that the residents have started using for their healthcare and the streetlights for safety's sake. The landscaping of the stadium grounds is actually well kept for the neighborhood, since the people that live in the area are trying to keep something not in shambles. Suprisingly, the grass and trees are able to survive on the sunshine that occasionally comes through the canopy of tall buildings overhead.

On the stairs leading up to the stadium, some faint blue lights can be seen when the lights flicker, where Eden sits enjoying the peace here. It's not the prettiest of places, but she has helped the citizens in the area with various things from time to time since there's little machinery that's usable down here. Eden gives a soft sigh as the lights flicker out again but don't come back on after a few seconds, getting up to go check on the generator inside the stadium and make sure it's able to work in case it has to be activated. She's the only one in the area who knows how to maintain it, the residents just know that it produces electricity.

"Better make sure it's ready to activate tonight, just in case they need it. Hopefully this doesn't last too long," she'll think to herself as she begins to walk the empty halls towards the large generator on the stadium's floor. She doesn't pay too much attention to anything else as she begins to head through the dark, empty halls towards the generator, her softly glowing blue lights providing enough light for her to see far enough that she doesn't walk into a wall or something. Afterall, it's typically a VERY uneventful walk, and she has to pull up the schematics for the generator again to know what to check.

Spencer never did like much about slums, cities or places that still have people living in them, because obviously they were always judgmental and annoying in their ideals and what they thought they knew despite the belief that she held. She usually didn't like to be near people but then again that's why she was here now wasn't it? She roamed the junk piles of hallways, noting the curves and spider-webbed cracks in the walls that made for a deadly but beautiful look as she roamed the hallways her ears straining to hear the vibe set off by some strange and funky, yet rhythmic sounding machine. She didn't know what it was supposed to be but she could obviously sense energy coming from it as the spikes inside of her came out through her back, pulsing green as she could feel it flowing through her.

"Maybe it's . . . good" she said aloud as she tried to make her body find and follow the grooves it set off and sent down her spikes and into her spine. Her hand roamed around the tip of a piece of concrete, the steel webbing like material that was coming out in steel nets ready to spring but rusted in place. This person obviously didn't seem to spend much time or have much care for anything other than whatever was giving off the light, or were they that light?

She was only puzzled for long as a growl escaped her throat, almost a warning as the virus inside of her almost warned her of the android she saw as she turned, instinctively jumping back and sliding on the rubble, her feet turning to anchor herself as she gnashed her mouth and snarled at the creature. "And what are you supposed to be, some sort of lousy keeper? Would it kill you to clean this place up?" She asked with a growl emanating from her throat.

Eden couldn't really see anything as she was looking over the generator's schematics along her walk to it, when she apparently actually came across something along the way. She was startled when she heard whatever it was gnash it's mouth and snarl at her, proping up against a pillar she was walking by to gather herself. Eden quickly closes the schematics so she can see again while beginning to respond, "Me? Oh, no, I'm not the kee-..." but stops mid sentence and cocks her head in a confused fashion when she actually sees what's growling at her.

After a brief second, she'll catch herself and continue answering it's question, "Uhh, sorry, as I was saying, I'm not the keeper here. And, no, it wouldn't kill me to clean this place up, but I only help the people here with what they ask of me whenever I pass through here." The android can't help but ponder in awe at what's before her. She has no idea what to categorize it under, what it might be capable of, if it's in an unpleasant mood... Eden will completely put off the generator for now, wondering what's before her and if it might turn out to be more of a threat than the people being without power. However, not one to be rude, she will try to introduce herself to the strange thing before her, "I'm called Eden, by the way."

"You're an android" was what she said as she pretty much ignored everything else and walked up to her and looked at the android's body. "You're a god damned android, and here I thought you guys are dead for the most part, and I'm just here for my own reason" she said as her head swiveled and the blades in her back retracted and sprang back out and went up and down in succession as the blades moved and made noises similar to the grinding of a knife or the sharpening of an axe as they stopped at being full up as her claws clicked. "I'm a V-I-R-U-S, or at least a human infected/merged/sharing a body with one you dig so stop scanning me, I can feel it and it's creepy" she said as the growling continued to pulsate from her body making her distrust of this thing aware. "You can feel it too, can't you? You can feel the natural hostility we have towards each other or at least I can, your goody-goody programmers probably bred it out of the last Androids. Your plating though is a little fucking old and not very well taken care of. Seriously, take better care of yourself, I can see the loose parts without even having to bend you over and tune your ass myself"

Eden's taken back by the human/virus before her. She doesn't know what to think of it, let alone what she could do against it if she needed to defend herself from it. "Y-... You're a virus infected human... That's possible?" she'll find herself asking out of shock, though more to herself than directed at the virus/human, trying to figure out the best option here. "What if it's contageous to other humans?" she'll ask herself as she finds herself slowly taking a defensive stance since the thing before her is obviously not happy with her presence with the growling and all. "The plates aren't that old, and they aren't loose. They're within specifications," she'll find herself responding, with a little hostility in her voice. Afterall, it was her own doing for the change of plating to lighter-weight plates, and she doesn't take kindly when someone bluntly points out something wrong with her.

"Come on I can see it from right here, and if you don't believe me then I dare you to get down and let me show you myself with my own hands and knees." She shook her head as she walked over and clucked with her tongue, while taking closer notes of the girls body, "don't worry it's not contagious and hasn't been for as long as I've been like this, it was a virus that was bred specifically for humans, and honestly I wouldn't mind tinkering with your body either way" she was beginning to soften for god knows what reason but she really didn't care much about this girls squawking about her not being tuned right. "Listen, I know as a mechanic yourself it's a bit of an insult but still it's just how I'm seeing it and it's not meant to be an insult so come on and let me tune you myself to show you!"

Eden gives a soft sigh when she's told the virus isn't contageous, though she's still nervous since it was bred for humans, and there are people who live in the area still. However, that's still not good enough reasoning to her allow this person she's never met before to work on her. "They're fine the way they are," she'll respond somewhat coldly, though now with a hint of nervousness, watching the human/virus carefully. She's nervous for multiple reasons, but most of all is if her plating is actually loose under her synthetic skin. Could she have mis-calculated afterall? And if so, what else has she mis-calculated and messed up? She'll slightly lower her guard as she contemplates the possibility of her calculations being off, despite the fact that she made sure to run the numbers multiple times.

"It's mechanics eye, something which programmers can't put into you no matter how they try working that in". She smiled as she ran her hand on the girls arm and squeezed lightly as a *chink sound lightly came out from underneath the skin of the android. "Hear that? That's a loose plate rubbing against a stiff joint rotator without enough oil on it making it sound like that, so come on already and let me at it!" Spencer was itching to get her wrench, er hands, er claws on this girl but she really was being quirky about it. "Yeah, I've noticed that it doesn't affect humans other than me. I guess it was meant specifically for me, and besides that, it actually helps you live longer anyway" she said as her hands would roam the girls arms, as she would squeeze lightly at the joints and listen intently to see whatever else was wrong, loose, or off.

Eden let out a slight yelp of pain when the chink came out of her arm. Apparently she missed a spot when she last checked over herself, and her pain simulator was calibrated to it being just out of line, so it hurt when that happened. "But... I'm just supposed to trust a virus' eye then..." she protests as her arms are checked, cringing slightly when her right elbow is 'checked out' by this human/virus thing, which she still doesn't quite understand. "Well, it seems like she's not too hostile. Maybe the generator should be checked then instead of worrying about her?" the android will contemplate to herself. However, as her left arm's checked, there's be a grinding noise from the plate on her upper arm before a loud Clack! comes from her elbow, which elicits a scream of pain from the highly confused android. Eden's quite uncomfortable letting someone else work on her, but she'll grab her left elbow as if it just got dislocated, though it's still fully operational. Again, her pain sensor calibrated to it being off just enough that it's registering as severe pain when they're pushed back to where they should be. "It hasn't been that long since I've run a full diagnostic, has it?" She'll think to herself as she'll try to back away from the human/virus thing, in case it's what's causing the problems.

"Oooh, that doesn't sound good" she said as she would edge carefully towards her with her hands out facing towards her as she smiled sweetly at the android and rubbed the shoulder joint lightly. "Please let me tune you? It's been a while since I've tuned anything but scrap heaps, but I know I could fix you right up" she said as she looked at the androids legs giving them a close eye and watching the girl. She could beat her in a fight and tune her after the girl was beaten into abject submission but that's not what she wanted from this one, she wanted to do the tuning while she was still healthy. She could 'play' with her after the tuning if the girl wanted to, . . . or not but hey, that's how life goes. "Come on already, I promise I won't hurt you, I just want to work on your body. P-L-E-A-S-E?" She asked with a grin as she leaned in. "Although, I'm thinking that the pain you just felt was partially systematic, not the body itself" she said with a frown as her brow creased in thought lines.
