It took a lot of effort to get under Dakota’s skin. The Southern Belle tended to be pretty easygoing, just keepin’ on keepin’ on, like momma always said. So when a new entitled wrestler showed up, she was more than happy to offer her a welcome despite it all only to have it thrown back in her face. She’d been getting a lot of that lately and she wasn’t going to stand for some prissy new girl telling HER that she was the nobody. Dakota tugged the brim of her cap down, marching through the curtain.

Dakota Dwight:

She wasn’t sure how the match got booked so fast but she hardly cared at this point. Going through the motions, she gave a wave to the crowd and hit that pearly white smile at the ring steps. Her mind was elsewhere though, wanting to give this girl a bit of what was on her mind. She held down her hat and slipped between the ropes, moving to the far end of the ring. She wasn’t sure what exactly to expect. If this girl was anywhere near as big as her name, this was going to be one hell of a match.

"Y-you're sure she should be easy to defeat, right?" Eleanor clutched her walking cane in both hands, desperately leaning on it to balance her as her legs felt like they were to give out at any moment. Her head darted to look expectedly at her assistant, Penelope, who was calmly flipping through a handheld notebook. She hadn't been given anytime by Madame Eleanor to properly do the research on her opponent. The fault was her own, Penny cursed under her breath as she should have realized that giving Lady Eleanor a Twitter account so soon might have come at this cost. "Aha! Here. Dakota Dwight has a losing record and was handedly defeated by one of her opponents. Therefore, I conclude this should be an easy bout, Lady Eleanor." Penny sounded less than sure but it seemed enough to get Eleanor to find strength in her legs.

"W-well let the world see that Lady Eleanor de Vere Beauvalot be a figure that should not be trifled with!" Eleanor raised her cane and gave it a threatening shake, sounding a little more confident. She took a deep breath, managing to at least present a solid face from all her years as a noble lady in front of the unwashed masses. Even if she was so fearful that she might puke internally, she would never let that show! With one step forward, Lady Eleanor began her jaunt out into the arena and onto her new career!

Match Appearance:

Eleanor flourished with her cane and her walking form was an elegant waltz down to the ring! Oh how the crowd cheered for their new Queen, Eleanor thought and as she reached the ring, she turned to the stairs, parading over to climb them. She slipped into the ring and regally posed on the opposite of her opponent.

"Ohohoho~If it isn't the face of anonymity, herself!" Eleanor raised her can and pointed it at Dakota, waving it as her lecture continued. "Hoping to emerge as a figure of eminence by issuing me a challenge? You should know that this will go very poorly for you!" To illustrate the point, Eleanor brought her cane down to stamp at the mat.

Foes beware.

At the sound of delicate music Dakota turned her attention to the entryway, flexing her fingers in eager anticipation, bouncing from foot to foot. When a slender young girl came out with a cane in hand, she snickered to herself. It would figure whoever this woman was she had an entourage of baton twirlers and fire eatters or something. As the girl made her way down the ramp, Dakota’s face skewed with confusion as her boiling rage slowly drained out as she just watched the sanity little thing come on down to the ring… alone. Was this who she was wrestling with?

Dakota was left dumbstruck as Eleanor haughty taunted her all the whole Dakota was glancing around. She rubbed the back of her head, eyeing the regal young thing up before speaking. “So where’s the rest of you? Did’ya leave it in the back?” Had she found it funny, perhaps it would have been annoying to the blueblood, but the country bumpkin standing before Eleanor in a trucker hat and booty shorts was… looking at her as if she were someone to be pitied.”

“So is this where you pull the ol’ switcheroo on lil ol’ me and lick your heels and some big fella comes out to knock my head off?”  Dakota eyed around suspiciously, rolling up her jacket sleeves. ”Cause whatever you’re trying to pull, you ain’t gettin’ it over on me hun. I wasn't born yesterday.”

“So where’s the rest of you? Did’ya leave it in the back?”

Lady Eleanor moved quick to retort but stopped just short as she, too, was taken back. This wasn't the reaction she was prepared for. Cluelessness and not fear for her life? The brainless wit!, Eleanor thought as pulled herself together with a smirk, realizing that Dakota truly was clueless. Taught in the American public education system. What a tragedy~

"O-Oh I get it! You clearly are the witless worm that I thought you'd be. Must I continue to spell out the reality of the situation that YOU got yourself in?" Eleanor reached up and animatedly waved her index finger. "I, Lady Eleanor de Vere Beauvalot, _{get use to hearing that name as you'll be hearing it more}, will be your opponent tonight and you'll rue the day that you brazeningly crossed paths with me!"

Sure, Dakota was taller and had a lot more weight on her, but the bumpkin likely had no experience against a REAL opponent. This should be easy, one submission hold and she'll be begging for release. Satisfied with her own internal logic, Lady Eleanor removed her hat and placed it on the turnbuckle behind her. Her cane, carefully placed along the ringpost. She'll reclaim them in a moment.

Turning back around she continued to prattle, "Has the realization hit you? Is the dread building? I'll paint this canvas with your dignity as I put on a proper demonstration of de Vere Beauvalot talent~~!" Eleanor exclaimed, thrusting a finger up into the air so that her button-up shirt lifted enough to expose a bit of her porcelain-hued midriff.

Was it really just her? Dakota shifted her weight from one foot to the other, making a face as Eleanor rambled on. She couldn’t help but feel like one of the junkyard rottweilers behind a chained fence with the brave yappy little chiwawa on the other side barking up a storm. Just look at her, with her little cane and a fancy hat, like some perfect little doll.

“Only thing you are paintin’ at the moment is a big ol’ target on that pretty little face of yours,” Dakota muttered, making sure she was so loud enough to be heard. The Southern Belle stepped up, closing the distance between them. While Dakota wasn’t the biggest woman around, the difference between them was almost startling. She wasn’t aware they made grown women this petite.

“I think I owe it to all the ladies in the back to teach you right here tonight not to run your mouth.” Dakota stood center-ring, hands on her hips as she waited for the bell.

Dakota wasn't backing down. She sold confidence well and it was starting to make Eleanor doubt her position a little. H-heh, an a-admirable attempt to remain poised in the face of such strong and, _{of course, pretty~} adversity!" Lady Eleanor ended as her carried her forward. Not exactly at her behest, mind you, but rather impulsive mimicry of her opponent. She only approached because Dakota did so and not because there was any iota of confidence or strategy that drove her forward.

Stopping only within arms reach, her arm's reach, of Dakota, Lady Eleanor looked up and her whole body stiffened as she tensed for the bell. Was this really happening? A match where she had to fight someone? Someone that big? Her confidence faded into realization, the smile dropping into worry as her eyes darted around. She shouldn't just be standing here within striking range!! She should be doing something to prepare. When was the bell going to ring? Now? She needed time. She needed to-!

DING!

"Wha!" Lady Eleanor jumped in a startle but closed her eyes, rapidly swing her arm out wildly in an arc that brought the trajectory up towards Dakota's cheek. An open palm would greet Dakota if she wasn't fast enough but Eleanor did have that startle to slow her reaction speed. She only hoped to start her career off well...

The Southern Belle gave a small chuckle at the slow breakdown of her opponent's confidence before her eyes. The blond cocked her head slightly as she watched the other girl curiously. It could have been all of the previous stuff had been an act? It was hard to tell with this one. She could recall her own first match jitters back in the day and supposed it looked a lot like this. With a soft sigh, she conceded to herself that she might have gotten a bit too heated over all of this. Maybe time for a fresh start.

“You are a pretty lil thing, I’ll give you that.” Dakota gave a nod, the animosity in her voice had faded away. If this was all a ruse to get her to drop her guard, it was working. She didn't feel at all threatened by Eleanor. The girl practically looked like she had hopped out of the Candyland board game or something, a little ice cream. princess. With a small shrug, she offered a hand for a sportsmanlike shake before the match.

At the sound of the bell, Dakota didn't move or even flinch. She wasn't in a rush to get things started quickly, preferring them to get started ri-


The blond stood there, head slightly ajar, a cheek slightly reddened by the burning sensation glowing on her face. Her jaw stiffened, clenched in annoyance as her eyes locked on Eleanor with a quiet intensity. The hand she offered slowly fell away, leaving the blond quietly muttering to herself as she nodded. “Alright, alright… so that's how it's gonna be then?”

Dakota snapped into motion, a quick toe kick firing up at Eleanor’s abdomen. Ring formality had gone the wayside as she left the bottle emotion she felt early into her holiday morning came flooding back. She wanted to fold this girl in half, reaching down to grab hold of her by the shoulders and back of the neck to keep her from falling. Without missing a beat, she dipped down herself, twisting her body sideways in a spin to hoist the slender noble up onto her shoulders and bring her crashing to the mat with a slam, Dakota’s own Zero to Sixty. It would be a thunderous impact, one to rumble the ring itself. The blond floated over, shoving her forearm in Eleanor's face to press her cheek to the canvas as she covered the girl. An arm wrenching one of her slender legs aloft in a packed hook pin that would find her perky rear lifted off the mat.

Lady Eleanor opened her eyes, blinking in a stunning realization that she hit her opponent. The throbbing pain in her delicate hand had meant only one thing. She actually did it! She scored a hit! Her smile grew as she pulled back her extended hand as her whole body was placed into the half turn to really get the slap to sting. Surely, Dakota, the fool that she was, must be absolutely reeling from that impact. Maybe she was even knocked out and about to fall over, Lady Eleanor turned excitedly about to gush about scoring the first hit. It was truly momentous and Dakota got to be a part of it.

"Hmhm~ Did you enjoy but a taste of my incre-Euuugh!"

Eleanor wasn't expecting her opponent to be such a brute to take the slap as easily as she did! Defenseless, that kick rocked her stomach making the dainty figurine bend forward and clutch her delicate stomach as she tried to hold in her pre-match warm-up tea and biscuits.

The Brute! Alas, she will pay dearly! She cursed but wanted to go walk off and catch her breath. She had even started to turn away, bent low and forward with her arms wrapped around her stomach. She didn't manage to get far, only a step, before she was spun and lifted.

"Uwwaaahh!" Eleanor squeaked as her feet left the ground and she was hoisted into the air. It happened so fast that she didn't even have time to think of how to word her demand to be released. There was only the lift and then the drop.

The ring shook, the fans likely bellowed in applause but whatever was happening, Eleanor wasn't conscious for any of it. She had blacked out during the fall, not even reaching the mat before passed out. Her lifeless body bounced off the mat and was a complete victim to Dakota's handling with that forearm roughly scrapping the side of Eleanor's face to make her turn away and her legs lifted so she was practically folded up. The ref slid in next to them and tapped the mat. The count started.

"ONE!"


"TWO!"

"Three!"

Dakota remained still once she had locked Eleanor into the pin, not even feeling an ounce of resistance from the other girl. When the third count hit, the Southern Belle unhooked her arm and let the girl flip limply back to the canvas as she leaned back onto her knees. Her brow furrowed in frustration at just how pompous this little girl had been and just how easily she had been beaten. She may have very well taken the record for the fastest pinfall in AFW.

She found herself rubbing the back of her neck as she rose, confused by what all this even was. The crowd however was loud and excited at the display, roaring over the replaying of her entrance music. With a shake of her head, she turned away, throwing her smile back on as she walked the ring, posing for the crowd to give them what they wanted. Regardless of how she felt about the match, it was something that needed to happen. Better she be the one to humble this girl than some of the people she had to wrestle here.

Dakota hadn't even left the ring yet before Penny had emerged out onto the ramp on her Lady's side just as Dakota was making her exit. She had her clipboard in one hand and a stethoscope around her neck. Her blonde pigtails flowed as she moved in a hurry, stopping just a few feet down the ramp as she realized she was missing something. "Come on, come on. The Lady Eleanor's health is paramount!" She called out and the reluctant figured appeared.

Dressed in a pink nurse's outfit complete with the pink cap with the classic red cross, came a tall woman who looked a little hesitant to be here but if she was embarrassed, her pale, expressionless face revealed nothing. "The outfit isn't necessary." She muttered coldly but continued down to join Penny.

Penny and Victoria:

Although Penny would resume with haste, her companion did not. "Victoria, hurry!" Penny called out only drawing a scowl from Victoria. Penny would obviously reach the ring first before Victoria, the blonde slipped into the ring and knelt at Lady Eleanor's side. She was still breathing, thank goodness! but she wouldn't be able to attend to Lady Eleanor out here and waited anxiously as she watched Victoria climb into the ring.

Victoria approached and took a glance down at Lady Eleanor. "Not even a minute in a match." Victoria said plainly, earning her a look from Penny though that went away as Victoria bent down to scoop Lady Eleanor up into her arms, carrying her away like the delicate princess she was. "Can we go? This outfit is embarrassing."

Penny nodded and the trio slipped out and away to tend to Lady Eleanor's post defeat after her first match.
