Backstory

As a child, Cynthia had always adored lucha libre, so when she eventually signed on for an independent wrestling promotion, she was ecstatic. In fact, her personality had been kind and expressively passionate about life. However, she always had difficulty getting into the mainstream wrestling field. She was pretty, and was a natural at wrestling, but she had the misfortune of being a small fish in a massive pond. She never blew up as she expected, and slowly began to wither out and lose match opportunities in favor of native women. It was clear to her that she was being replaced by what the industry saw as "prettier, sexier, and more appealing" American wrestlers. She did to try to fight back against it, but there wasn't much she could do, and she eventually decided to quit in the only way a wrestler knew how—challenging a champion. To the surprise of many, she had manage to put up a good fight, but her opponent had cheated, causing her to lose the match at the end, and officially have to resign from what was once her dream.
However, now in her 30s, she had eventually gotten a stable job along with a husband and some kids, but after so many years have passed, she begins to regret never completing her dream of becoming champion, so, after some motivation from her lover, she returns to wrestling with the same passion she had back in her 20s, even if she would be ridiculed for being an old, withered reject to her opponents. She hopes to someday show her kids that she managed to reach her dreams, even if she had long-lived past her prime.

Cynthia had always loved her culture and traditions, but after her experience with discriminating in the ring, she went on a journey of self discovery. In a way, her identity began to consume her image, and she figured out what she truly loved. Even after leaving her former promotion, she never stopped practicing her wrestling. She believes such a sport is her birthright, and that she's worthy of it, but was always too afraid to get into it because of her doubt. Even so, she loves sports. Whenever she isn't working in her restaurant, she's out either playing beach volleyball, tennis, basketball, or soccer. She's gained a bit of weight over the years, yet she's just as energetic as ever going into her 30s.
