Strategy:

Amaya loves to utilize hit and run tactics to make the most out of her light and quick frame. She'll burst into the scene full of energy, engaging in a flurry of strike-based attacks before pulling out, only to repeat the whole thing all over again but this time from a different angle. She's careful not to tire herself out, mixing up her strikes with appropriately timed submission holds that allow her to recover while squeezing the endurance out of her opponents. She adapts her strategy to her opponents, measuring their size and skills before deciding what strategy to pursue herself.

She's much more willing to stand her ground against girls her own size. Grappling and up-close encounters are all fair game, and she's less likely to duck out of an up-close fight. If a match is going her way, she may even risk trying to throw in some slams and throws - moves that she otherwise refrains from. Amaya resorts back to a hit and run style of fighting against bigger opponents, realizing her own strength isn't enough to carry her to victory. Against all opponents however, Amaya loves to make excellent use of the ropes. You'll often find her scrambling to the corner, using the ropes to propel herself in the air and put on some dazzling saults before landing square on her opponent.

Amaya isn't afraid to mix it up with some lewd combat as well. She tries to refrain from striking as much in those types of matches, instead focusing more on submission based attacks that both wear out her opponent as well as provide some opportunities for her to get to work. She realizes she doesn't have the greatest sexual endurance, and will often try to best her opponent as quickly as possible before she herself eventually succumbs to their sultry touch.

Personality:

Amaya is super sweet and genuinely caring. While it might seem counterintuitive, she isn't entering the ring to seriously hurt anyone, instead seeing it as a place for friendly competition and combat. She is beyond polite and bubbly, careful to use good manners both in and out of the ring. She is soft-spoken and kind-hearted, rarely resorting to insults or mean-spirited comments, even if it is only for in-ring banter. She is a typical Japanese idol, and is a great crowd pleaser as a result. She goes out of her way to see the good in everyone, even if there isn't any to be seen. This makes her somewhat naïve and oblivious to other's intentions, and she's easily susceptible to those who wish to take advantage of her.

This can end up having dire consequences in the ring, especially against heel type opponents. Amaya is simply too pure to register that there are opponents out there who actually enjoy hurting others. As a result, Amaya doesn't fair too well against sadistic type opponents, and can easily have both her spirit and body crushed by their cruel ways. She tries to avoid hardcore matches for this very reason, but cruel opponents still manage to slip in to the plethora of other match types Amaya is willing to participate in. She is stubborn and resilient, but verbal attacks can end up having a profoundly negative effect on her.

She tries to use her words to cheer up those around her, and hates when words are used to bring others down. She is also a very emotional girl, and when put under extreme distress or pain,, can even break down into tears. Amaya has the tendency to freeze up when insulted ruthlessly, and essentially turns into a jobber against opponents who relentlessly put Amaya down both verbally and physically. She prefers for matches to be kept friendly and fair, and loves to fight against opponents who share the same mindset. That being said, it's simply impossible for things to always go her way, and she's bound to find herself in matches against opponent's who are perhaps a lot less friendly and are willing to take advantage of her innocent nature.

Past/History:

Amaya was born with an innate talent for the arts. From a very young age her parents discovered her aptitude for singing and dancing, and she was placed into classes where she soon excelled. In her pre-teens she had even picked up painting, and became known as a local youth prodigy in the arts. She took great pride in her work, practicing daily in techniques that exemplified poise and grace. Her traditional family encouraged her to practice relentlessly, and make a name for herself in the field that she was so talented in. Despite all their best efforts, Amaya couldn't help but deny a deep seated feeling inside of her, one that yearned for excitement beyond hiphop and paintbrushes.

She discovered wrestling in her mid-teens, and instantly she fell in love. It was a far stretch from dancing and painting, but that was exactly what she loved about. She kept her newfound interest a secret from her parents, staying up late at night to catch glimpses of exciting AFW matches. She dreamed of the day that she herself could enter the ring, and one day in her late teens, she decided to make it a reality. Her singing talents had attracted the attention of a local idol agency, and she was soon offered the opportunity to join an up and coming idol group in Osaka, Japan. Amaya knew that such groups promoted their talent far beyond the reaches of just singing, with some idols going on to compete in wrestling. Realizing that this would be a prime opportunity to fulfill both of her dreams, she happily accepted.

She toured Japan with her idol group, building up both fame and status and eventually becoming known as the lead singer of the group. After some time, she consulted her manager, eager to expand outside the scope of singing. She was granted access to the company gym, and soon began to train in professional wrestling. By the time she entered adulthood, she had reached a decent level of proficiency, and was now ready to enter her first few promotions. Her bubbly personality backed with her star-status as a famed idol made her an instant hit, and she performed remarkably well in many of the smaller wrestling circuits in Japan.

Soon enough, Amaya's lifelong dream came true, and she was offered an opportunity to join the big girls at AFW. After consulting her manager, she deciding to put her idol career on pause, and is now excited to pursue wrestling full time and bring along her her signature touch of glamour, glitz and style!
