Wrestling Information
Type: Incorrigible Prankster
Strategy: Why punch someone when you can bean them with a cartoonishly large mallet? Don't you want to see your favorite wrestlers running around the ring only to slip and fall on a banana peel of all things?! Normal fighting is a bore so Trixie is looking to liven up all those sleepy stiffs in the crowd by injecting her zany antics in the ring. She makes use of a wealth of gag items, tricks, and downright illegal wrestling maneuvers when the match permits... or when the referee finds themselves distracted. She makes up for her own lack of fighting ability by avoiding head-to-head confrontation to instead confuse, confound, and infuriate her opponents into making exploitable mistakes. It’s only really after wearing her opponent out, physically and mentally, that she can take full advantage of her wrestling skills to grind down the last bit of their strength with her decent use of submission-based wrestling.
Preferred Matches: No DQ
Physical Stats:
Endurance: ★★★☆☆
Wrestling Technique Stats:
Striking: ★★☆☆☆
Favored Moves:
- Eye Poke
- Foot Stomp
- Low Blow
- Hair Pulling
- Biting
Signature Moves:
Glitter Bomb: Spitting mist is so unhygienic! Trixie instead pulls out a fistful of glitter and blows or throws it into her opponent's eyes. Where did she get it from? She certainly isn't telling.
Chicken Choke: Application of a variety of sleeper/choke-based submissions with the assist of a rubber chicken.
Put'er There!: Hand buzzers are one of the oldest tricks in the book, that's why it's okay to use it, that copyright protection has long since expired. Trixie has made some small adjustments to hers though with the innovations of smaller and stronger batteries her head buzzer is practically a hand taser.
Custard Cutter: Trixie produces a pie from hiding, smacking her opponent in the face with it. While they are blinded, she kicks them in the gut and delivers a diamond cutter.
Finishers:
Punchline: She dons an excessively large punching glove loaded to the laces with lead weights. After a big windmill windup, she lets her opponent have it, knocking their socks clean off with a KO punch!
Honkjob: Trixie climbs on top of a downed opponent and clips a specialized bulbous clown nose onto their nose that prevents them from using it to breathe. She will then use her breasts to encapsulate her opponent's mouth, cutting off their airflow.
Characteristics:
Personality: All the world is a stage and it's Trixie's job to make sure to put on a good show, normally at the expense of someone else. A born mischief maker, she thrives in chaos and confusion she sows, most often in the form of japes and ruses. A flare for the dramatic with an animated personality she likes to keep around her guessing what she might do next to shatter expectations. She has a decent enough sense of humor, more than willing to be the butt of her or someone else's jokes so long as she finds the exchange funny. If she isn't popping out of unexpected places for a sudden jump scare or telling horrible jokes, she is likely tucked away someplace setting up her next big prank or prop.
Past/History: Not much is really known about Trixie, outside of her family circle. She is a third-generation clown whose family has been with The Marvelous Master of Mayhem Le Grande's Traveling Circus even before its current ringmaster inherited the business. As far as anyone is aware, her usual goofy self, all smiles, and terrible jokes, is just how she has always been. if she is any different when alone, it doesn't appear that anyone is privy to such things. As such, she has always been found dressing in garishly bright attire, laughing hysterically at nothing in particular, or donning various amounts of makeup. So when this little enigma of the carnival volunteered to accompany Alistair Le Grande's daughter to Japan to meet up with an old circus friend, it was a surprise to nearly everyone including Abigail Le Grande herself. While no one is sure of her motivations, a few members of the circus assure she left to find some new marks for her pranks as people at the circus had become wise to her antics. It might very well be true, as the grin she had upon stepping off the airplane in Tokyo was the biggest it had been for some time.
Fun Facts:
Art of Slapstick: A clown well versed in pratfalls, she knows how and where to land to absorb the most impact. Rather than bracing against throws and blows, she embraces them and just rolls with it, sometimes literally. As such, she is rather resilient to many power moves that allow her the time or positioning to take them more gracefully.
Diploma: She keeps her graduation certificate from clown collage framed on her wall. Nobody is sure if it's actually real.
Red Nose Day: She will leave her defeated opponents with a red clown nose on after a match regardless of how she defeats them.
Quick Change Dynamo: Trixie isn't above dressing up or dressing down and she can do so in a flash. She probably picked up a thing or two from the circus magician or Beckett.
