Banter at the bar

It was late and Ally was exhausted from the day. Unlike most days today Ally was dressed in more modest attire. Still electing to wear bright colors, she was dressed in a bright yellow shirt and tattered jeans. Today, she thought, was a great day to just go out and have a few drinks. She entered the nearest bar and took a seat at the bar. The place was fairly lively. It was crowded with people singing, arguing, laughing, and most importantly drinking. The orange feline would quickly wave down the bartender to order herself a drink.

While waiting for a drink she scanned the room. She didn’t have any specific goal in mind but just wanted to see if there was anyone that might be interesting to talk to nearby. She also wouldn’t pass up the chance to find someone with deep pockets that would either buy her some drinks or wouldn’t notice a bit of cash missing.

During her scan she might have noticed a lone male skunk sitting in a booth by himself. In reality he wasn't alone, but it sure looked like it as someone who he was with was in another part of the bar, glued to a pinball machine and shows no signs of leave it anytime soon. Who he was with was away for a good fifteen minutes at least, and in that time a couple of people came to talk to him, but nothing that warranted a long stay.

"Well there's someone." Ally thought to herself as she got up from her seat. She walked up to the skunk in the booth and waved to him.  She put her drink down on the table and quickly took a seat at the table. "Mind if I sit for a bit?" She would ask after having already decided to take her spot. " You look like you just got stood up or something." She would comment, noticing that he had been fairly solitary for quite a while.

Not expecting anyone else to join him, Sion was a bit surprised when Ally came up to him. He wasn't against her staying for a but and told her "Sure." His wife was in the area, but admittingly not around him for quite some time. He wasn't bothered by it and tells her "I wouldn't put that way."

Ally sat down and took a sip of her drink. "Well then what way would you put it?" She asked. She didn't mean to pry into his business but couldn't help asking. She was a curious one but thankfully it hadn't killed her yet. Plus she wouldn't mind getting to know the skunk a bit better.

"Well I am with someone, she's just..." he tries to explain where Daisuke is, though it has been some time since she took off to do her thing and he wan't too sure what she was up at that moment. "Er....uhm..."

Ally would look around. Not seeing anyone that she thought was with Sion, shed chuckle to herself. "Ya know it's totally okay to not be here with anyone. Ya can't always get lucky." She would try to say reassuringly. She really thought that the skunk was just trying to save face and felt slightly bad for him. If she didn't find him a little cute, Ally probably would have left him by now.

"She's right over there" he points to somewhere where he recalls seeing when she originally took off, but all that is there now is just an empty space. He sighs.

Ally couldn't help but laugh as she was left looking at nothing. She would put her hand over her mouth as she tried to stop herself. "Haha OK...OK you sure proved me wrong." She would tease. She just shook her head and took a sip of her drink. "Sure ya haven't just had too much to drink big guy?" She continued.

He shakes his head at her, he didn't have anything in front of him at the moment, though if he remembers correctly Dai was originally going to go get something for both of them then when she got distracted and went to do the pinball thing instead. "You must think I'm crazy -_-"
