Re: Fédération Internationale de Football Association(Football)
Dembele, a young and very talented player from Borussia Dortmund, is rumored to transfer to Barcelona for 130 Million €. He already made a clear statement by bailing out on the training of his current team, so he alredy gave a very good impression of himself to his potential new employer.
And regarding an offer he could not refuse, I am pretty positve that if a player like Neymar does not make a Michael Jackson move and finances his own zoo, buys the rights to the beatles song and his own mega ranch, he is already set for life. I would rather agree with you in the statement that he is arguably the biggest fish in a much smaller pond now.

Lol, that Robert Levandowski. He got his bachelor degree in surprise surprise, sports.
The topic: Robert Levandowski and his rise to fame.
It sounds a little bit odd to make a your own biography as your thesis, but what´s good for Poland is also good for the rest of the world I guess. He was there to defend his work in a suit as it is common in Poland, but his professors all wore national shirts of the national team of Poland. this probably motivated him to a flying colors performance in defending himself.^^

Well when you can score 5 goals in 9 minutes, you can get away with writing a thesis about yourself... and with claiming you are Batman.

Some results from the World Cup:
Russia vs. Saudi Arabia 5:0
Absolute demolition of Saudi Arabia from a Soso national team of Russia.
Egypt vs Uruguay 0:1
Not much of a match. Legendary Uruguay seems like an eternity away.
Morocco vs Iran 0:1
Surprisingly good match in my opinion.
Spain vs Christiano Ronaldo and some other Portugal guys 3:3
Spain wrangled a draw from Christiano Ronaldo. Absolutely stellar performance from CR7, he puts much younger guys to shame at the age of 33. The day CR7 is not in peak condition, Portugal will be out of the World Cup after the group phase.
France vs Australia 2:1
Lame performance from a former World champion, barely managing to avoid the fate of Argentina in that one.
Peru vs Denmark 0:1
Average match, highlight was the missed penalty of Peru. Draw would have been the deserved result. Wonderkid Errikson totally out of the match.
Argentina vs Iceland 1:1
Argentina was making the match, Iceland the goal. Weak Messi, to his credit he was usually triple teamed by Iceland defenders.
Croatia vs Nigeria 2:0
Nigeria played a clean football you would expect from a minor league team, long pass play into the enemy half. Nothing a world class defensive midfield/ defense team from the likes of Rakitic and Modric would not be able to easily handle. Croatia could be a tough nut to crack even for better teams.

Re: Fédération Internationale de Football Association(Football)
Spain v Portugal was such a great match and in stark contrast to most of the other matches so far that I've watched (which have been pretty average)... Even Though Portugal rely on Ronaldo, they played a good team game in the first 30 mins and were good at defense/counterattack in the second half

Re: Fédération Internationale de Football Association(Football)
Spain vs. Portugal definitely was great, though Spain is so clearly a better team overall that you really have to be impressed with Ronaldo (moreso even than one would be otherwise). Iceland managing to earn the draw was fun ("Iceland beats Argentina 1-1," as the commentators said, which I like).
Also, Costa Rica-Serbia right now went longer than almost any other game without extra time I've ever seen. Lots of hijinks there.

Re: Fédération Internationale de Football Association(Football)
Iceland v Argentina frustrated me. I didn't particularly have any favouritism to Argentina, but I ended up wanting them to score just so that I could see something other than 11 Iceland players in their own penalty area. But the game planned worked for them.. So yeah, Iceland victory
