The Devil You Know

Mercy clicked her pen furiously as she scrolled through the AFW database. After the last incident, she had gotten sick and tired of all the bullshit coming from pretty much everyone. How many times was Bonnie going to try and fight Allison and get her ass kicked? How many times was Clyde going to try and fix things on his own and get his ass kicked? Mercy felt like she had been the only one who had gotten anything done at all and even then she still kinda... got her ass kicked. But when Emily barged in and brought along that most heinous woman Dinah, Mercy knew she needed to do something that couldn't be done by her or Bonnie or Clyde or Duffy or probably all of them combined.

Still, she was regretting things big time. She had made a call to summon someone who was equally as vile as Allison or Dinah or Emily and while she waited for the time to tick down for that woman to arrive, she was madly scrolling through the profiles for anyone else that might fit the bill anyone else aside from the woman she had called up.

Brittany Luvve.

Mercy shivered at the thought of it. Still, Brittany would no doubt do as Mercy asked. She'd murder that little troll and if Allison and Dinah didn't like it? Well, it would just suck to be Brittany. Then again, she'd been hanging around with Kelly lately for some reason. Mercy's eyes gleamed at the thought of Dinah and Allison and Kelly and Brittany tearing each other apart. Then, finally, the people she cared for would be safe from all those maniacs.

Right?

Mercy sighed heavily and collapsed at her desk. It was hard being so smart.

Lately all Brittany had been doing was working out and plotting revenge against Taylor so when she got a summons from Mercy Brittany was taken by surprise. After how their last meeting ending Brittany thought she would never see Mercy again without Mercy being surround by an army of body guards. Brittany was too curious to find out what Mercy wanted to ignore the summons so that is how Brittany found herself out in front of Mercy's door.

Brittany couldn't help but smile as she imagined the look on Mercy's face wen she came face to face with Brittany again. And Brittany was looking forward to tormenting Mercy again as the little girl with no backbone was just so fun to play with. Brittany opened the door to Mercy's office with a smile on her face. "Knock, knock bitch, You called for me."

"huuuungh..."

Mercy sighed as she heard Brittany's voice and lifted her head. "Ms. Luvve, I shouldn't have to remind you that while you may lack manners of any kind and you may think that you're attitude is cute, I still do hold your career in my hands, at least, in part. Can we have at least one meeting where you're not cursing before you even sit down?"

Mercy ran her fingers through her hair and sat up properly, looking at the viper. "Please, have a seat. I wanted to talk to you about a possible match."

Brittany just ignored Mercy's threats as she made her way to the chair to sit down. "A match you say. Are you ready to step into the ring with me." Brittany said as she taunted Mercy. "Or have you found someone with enough backbone to step into the ring with me?" Brittany would say as she would lean forward and place her elbows on the desk as she looked Mercy right in the eyes with a wicked smile on her face. "Also just so you should know, i haven't been in the best of moods lately. So, you should be careful with those little threats of your or i might have to put you through your own office desk."

"No!" mercy said, glaring at the blonde. "And no." She added. She furrowed her brow and sighed. She bit her lip at Brittany's comment. "Neither have I, Ms. Luvve." She said and eyed Brittany. "So you should stop threatening me because if you lay a finger on me, you're going to jail for assault."

Mercy sighed and pulled up a file. "I'll be frank with you. I know you're a dirty bitch, that's exactly why I called you in. I need you to go up against a rookie. She's only had one match and you can... do whatever you want to her, i don't care." Mercy said. "But, as far as you're concerned, you just happen to have gotten this match, understand? It's not uncommon for a top contender to be put up against a rookie to show off both of their skill sets."

Mercy the swiveled her monitor around and showed off a picture of Emily Clarkson. "You CAN do that, right?" Brittany said. "You can actually beat a rookie? Because I was under the impression that you might have been losing a step, considering Kelly Conway is babysitting you now."

Brittany glared at Mercy as the girl continued to threaten her. "I think going to jail would be a fine payment for sending you to the hospital permanently." Brittany said as she would love to just beat the crap out of Mercy right then and there. However, Brittany would here Mercy out and when she said she could do anything to a rookie Brittany smiled. "You do mean anything right? I have some aggression i need to work out and i don't want to get fired for beating some bloody in the ring." Brittany said but Mercy's next words were a wrong choice for her. Brittany reached across the table to grab onto Mercy's top to pull the girl closer. Then with a crazed look in her eye Brittany said. "I am not being babysat by Kelly. I will stab her in the back the first chance i get a shot at Taylor. And if you don't think i can handle a rookie, how about i show you what i can do right here." Brittany said as it seemed that Mercy struck a nerve that she shouldn't have.

Mercy squealed as Brittany yanked on her collar and pulled her threateningly close. "Aiiep!" She struggled but tried to keep calm as she could with Brittany looming over her. She gulped down her fear and looked at the crazed blonde.

"Tch. Let. Go." She said, trying to be as defiant as she could get away with. Brittany, while scary, was nothing compared to the walking battleship that was Dinah Clarkson. Mercy could surely handle Brittany's ire. "If you don't, I'll fire you right here and right now and then I'll scream so loud that you'll be too busy plugging your ears to stop Rally from bursting in here and kicking your ass!"

Mercy snorted a bit and tried not to shiver so badly that Brittany laughed off her tough talk. "Are you going to take the match, or what?" Mercy said finally, trying to push Brittany's hand away from her.

Brittany continued to glare down at Mercy as the girl tried to act tough. However, Brittany calmed down a few seconds later and shoved Mercy away. "Fine, i will take your stupid match. On one condition, you have to be my slave for a day." Brittany said as she wanted to see Mercy's reaction as Brittany was tired of this bitches threats and Brittany wanted to see if Mercy actually had the spine to accept her request.

"What!?" Mercy's eyes widened and she flailed and wriggled free from Brittany's grip. "I'm not being your slave for ONE minute, let alone fourteen hundred and forty of them!" She said, slapping her hands down on the desk.

"Why?" She said and looked up at Brittany with almost pleading eyes. "It's like... no one ever told you about Christmas while you were little and now that you're an adult, you're going to take away everyone's toys!" She said. She seriously never met anyone who was more of a superbitch than Brittany Luvve...

Brittany smiled at Mercy rejected her offer. "I knew you didn't have the balls to do it." Brittany said as she sat back down and looked at Mercy. "Why should everyone get their toys if i can't have the ones i wan?." Brittany said before letting out a laugh. "Don't worry i will go beat up this chick for you but don't get too cocky. One day i am going to get you alone and have my fun with you." Brittany would say before standing up. "Anything else you want to say before i go bitch?"
