Submission War- Rayne Suturusu vs Rei Tomizawa

"You're under the false impression that you're my friend. In here, we're not. In here, you're my enemy." Rei said, looking down at her foe with one dark green eye while the other half of her face was covered in a veil of violet hair. "And I destroy my enemy's body and spirit."

Rei pulled the other Japanese girl to her feet forcefully, she could feel Rayne's rage looming over her even before she saw her face. The Cosplay fighter saw Rayne's expression turn from in pain to burning of the most resolute anger. She looked at the fiery rage and saw Rayne's intent to make Rei eat her words. The violet haired girl looked at Rayne at first in surprise and a tint of guilt. It was quickly masked by a sinister smirk as if the anger Rayne felt only made Rei happier.

"Kh!" The violet haired girl grunted as Rayne came straight at her and smashed into her. She fell back and landed on her back with her opponent's weight on top of her. Being sandwiched between the ring floor and Rayne, the air was crushed out of her like a toothpaste tube.

Rayne had reached her breaking point. With Rei taunting her, insulting her, and worse yet, teasing her like she did in the middle of the ring in front of all of these people, she had enough. She cared deeply for Rei, but she had enough of her treating her like she wasn't worth her time. She was going to find out just how wrong she was.

In a rage, she slammed Rei down into the mat, ending up on top of her. Her eyes were dangerously narrowed as she stared down at her, her chest heaving with anger. Without wasting a second, she reached for her ankle, trying to get a firm grip on it while getting to her feet.

"I'm. not. WEAK!" she screamed at Rei before trying to lock in an ankle lock, gritting her teeth as she put on as much pressure as she could.

Rei had no time to react as Rayne had immediately put her in an ankle lock and she held nothing back. The pain spiked through her ankle all the way to her calf. The violet haired girl let out a sharp cry of pain, she breathed hard through her teeth. She shook her head as if telling herself not to give up. She groveled on the ground as she slammed her fist into the mat. It felt like she just shoved the lower half of her leg in a vat of fire, the muscles and tendon's in her calf were screaming at her.

"...Damn that's brisk." Rei said under her breath giving the tiniest of laughs before looking toward the rope. In agony, she would get to her knee and elbow.

Rei would pant as she would pathetically try to crawl to the ropes but she did not progress far or at all. With Rayne standing, she had Rei like a dog on a leash.

Rayne didn't know what came over her. She never got this angry in a match, or ever for that matter. But Rei's constant belittling awoke something inside of her, and it was scary. All she wanted to do was give Rei everything she had, and make her see just how wrong about her she was, and if that meant hurting her in the same way that she would do to her, then so be it. A match was a match, and like Rei said herself, in the ring, they were not friends.

With Rei's ankle held tight, Rayne twisted vigorously, intent on putting on enough pressure to make her feel the pain throughout the matchif she could. Making hard for her to walk would make the rest of the match that much easier. But the violet haired girl tried to drag herself to the ropes, not making much headway in doing so.

Before she could get far, Rayne tried to take a step or two back away from the ropes, pulling Rei with her. She wasn't going to let her slip away from her now. If she wanted to get free, she was going to quit.

"Just tap!" she yelled, a little surprised by the anger in her own voice. She didn't hate Rei, in fact, she cared deeply for her. But Rei pushed her over the edge, and she was going to regret it before the match was over.

"Aaahhh! " Rei grunted as her for foe put the pressure on twisting her ankle quite painfully. The violet haired girl felt herself begin pulled farther and farther behind. Rei could hear the rage in Rayne's voice, the storm within her. She let out another agonizing scream and shook her head. Her ankle was on the verge of taking permanent damage. Rei reached forward as the ref looked in anticipation. Hearing her opponent demanding to submit, she would grit her teeth and braved through the pain.

"Not on your life!" Rei said with grit and determination in her voice. She would refuse to submit to anyone when it came to submissions and Rayne was no exception.Instead of tapping, Rei slammed her hand once on the mat and lifted herself up. Rei would go with the twist of the submission relieving the submission immediately.

Rei made a sharp inhale of breath as the screaming stopped and she ginned up at Rayne. Pushing off the ground and retracting her captured foot, Rei would attempt to slam the heel of her free foot into Rayne's face.

Rayne knew that she was probably overdoing it. The last thing she wanted was to cause Rei serious injury, but, in her rage, she just didn't really care too much. Rei had said it herself. In the ring, they weren't friends, they were enemies. And beating your enemy meant doing whatever it took to do so. So, as much as she didn't want to hurt her, she was more than willing to do it.

But Rei wasn't a quitter. She refused to tap out, even though she was clearly in a lot of pain. But Rayne knew that, even if she didn't tap out from this, she'd be feeling it the rest of the match. And that was better than nothing. Still, she really, really wanted her to tap out.

Rei shocked her though. While Rayne was just focused on applying pressure, she wasn't expecting her friend to counter. The purple haired girl rolled with the twist of her ankle, managing to remove all of the pressure. Rayne tried to twist it again, even though the girl was on her back, but Rei was quicker, using her free foot to kick the grappler right in her pretty face.

"Augh!" Rayne called out, both hands covering her nose and mouth as she stumbled backwards. She hadn't been expecting such a counter, and her carelessness left her vulnerable.

"Hah!" Rei said as she kicked Rayne off of her, she flew backwards into a roll and back to her feet. She took a step back and immediately dropped to one knee for a second before springing back to her feet. It felt like her ankle was on fire but she could still fight. She hazarded a glance at her right ankle with grim acknowledgement. Rei had expected Rayne's submission to do a lot of damage but this was close to debilitating her from fighting. She made an internal promise to herself to not push it too far. Rei knew she had taken a risk but she knew another ankle lock or heel hook would mean the end. It pained her but she made a mental note to just tap if Rayne managed to get her in any ankle related submission again.

Rei would circle away from Rayne cautiously favoring her good leg over her bad ankle. She contemplated complimenting her opponent for that deadly submission. If Rei hadn't thought of such a nice escape, it would have been the end of the match. Picturing herself defeated at Rayne's hands at her own specialty, she wouldn't accept that even if it was someone she liked a whole lot.

"You just got lucky." Rei said mockingly with a smirk. "It won't happen again rookie. I'm not losing to you."

Rayne stumbled back into a corner after the kick to her face, checking to see if her nose was bleeding. Thankfully, it wasn't. But the kick left her reeling, trying to get her senses back. She couldn't believe that she let her guard down so much that she didn't consider Rei would counter. Her anger had completely taken over, and clouded her better judgement.

Looking up now, she saw Rei on her feet, favoring the ankle that Rayne had put so much pressure on. And suddenly, she felt so awful. She may very well have hurt her friend just because she was angry. She knew this was a match, but she didn't want to hurt her. She opened her mouth to apologize, but then Rei taunted her again, reminding her that this was a competition, and sympathy had to be saved for after the match.

She shook her head before stepping away from the corner, eyeing her violet haired friend. "Well, my luck has you limping," Rayne said, forcing a cocky grin. She didn't want to hurt her more, but she knew that she'd have to go for that ankle again if she really wanted to win. She had already done enough damage that another good lock could end the match. But she made a mental note to not go so hard this time. Giving her pain was one thing, crippling her was another.

Rayne raised her arms, moving to the center of the mat, inviting Rei for a lock up. With her ankle the way it was, she might just have the advantage in a test of strength.

Rei blushed at Rayne's confidence and that smirk sent a tingling sensation down her spine. It begged the question where the hell did this come from? She smiled back in the same cocky manner but was unable to erase the redness from her face.

"Look at you, you get me in one submission and you think you're tough huh?" Rei said putting her hands on her hips and raised her brow at Rayne's open challenge. "OH! You think you're stronger than me too just cause my ankle hurts a little?!! I just have one question for you-"

The violet haired girl would gladly accept, intertwining their fingers together in a tight squeeze as they would give their all. Rei was forehead to forehead with Rayne, their chests crushing against each other. Their bodies raging to see which one was the stronger one. She would glare into Rayne's eyes as if she were her worst and most hated enemy. Despite the fact, it took all her will power not to kiss Rayne with how close their mouths were. She could practically taste Rayne's breath against her lips but Rei ignored it all the same. Rei still did not want to put any weight on her ankle which made her more careful. The pain was there but not overwhelming at the moment.

"Would you rather be on your knees or on your back~?" Rei said with a seductive smug tone that only a seasoned heel could emulate. "Either way, you're going to be put in your place Rayne!"

Despite feeling bad for hurting Rei, Rayne was quite proud that she managed to get her with such a good hold. She was sure that, if it were anyone else, the match would have ended right there. But Rei was tough, and submissions were her specialty. So it was going to take a little bit more effort to make get her to quit.

Rayne and Rei met in the middle of the ring, meeting up in a test of strength. The two girls pushed against one another, their foreheads and busts mashing together as the two tried to overpower each other. The violet haired girl talked her trash, but Rayne was going to let her get her angry this time. This time, she just grinned. It took some pushing, but she was in full competition mode now.

"My place is standing over you while the crowd cheers my victory," she shot back, pushing with all of her might. She tried to lower herself some, attempting to get the lower ground so that she could push Rei easier. If she could, she'd push her all the way to the corner.
