Clyde Gastin Vs. Kendra Williams

Pulling himself up on the top turnbuckle, Clyde was about ready to scope out where Kendra was and go for a nasty elbow drop that would surely finish the cowgirl, but right as Clyde turned towards her from atop the ropes, he would see Kendra blur right towards him and throw an elbow right into his stomach.

"HUGH!" Clyde hunched over as some spit flew from his mouth as he got tagged by Kendra, his hands gripping the ropes carefully so avoid falling over but when Kendra joined him and rained an elbow into the side of his head, Clyde would jerk back, stunned for a moment, thus allowing Kendra to tuck his head under her arm.

He growled against her with eye open, one hand holding the ropes at his side to keep him still, tilting over uncomfortably as he tried to ram his fist into her abs to prevent the superplex.

Kendra had managed to catch Clyde before he was able to jump off the tops ropes. She cringed at the thought of having him crash down on top of her again. The first time was agonizing enough. A second... she was pretty sure she wasn't going to be able to get up after that.

But this was it. Now it was her turn to put Clyde in a world of hurt. Tucking his head under her arm, she stepped up to the very top ropes, preparing for a superplex, at least until the cowboy's fist came crashing into her ribs. The punch forced Kendra to suddenly jerk a bit. And then she fel her foot slip off of the top rope.

Kendra's heart sank as she went tumbling forward into Clyde before falling to the side and plummeting all the way down to the floor below, landing hard almost head first. Kendra was knocked nearly senseless as er head bounced off the thankfully padded floor. [size=85:26x9b28v]"Ahh... eh..." she groaned, laying there with both arms wrapped around her aching, throbbing head.

Kendra had moved to the top of the ropes, it was a dangerous position sure, especialy if she planned to suplex him and with her strength it was possible! A suplex from that height would probably do him in. So Clyde really put some 'Umph' into his punch to try and stun Kendra.

The result of that wasn't what he expected.

He struck her and she jerked forward, falling right into him! Clyde's eyes shot wide as Kendra fell on him losing his grips and footing on the ropes as well as he was pushed back, causing the him to fall over along with Kendra, sending the two plowing into the floor below!

Clyde hit the floor hard, going back first into the padded floor, the wind knocked right out of his lungs as she smacked the floor, his eyes wide and glazed with his mouth hung open and gasping. He was close to Kendra but he barely considered she was there as he couldn't even move up from the floor, seeing nothign but the lights above, his arms splyed out and his legs tangled with Kendra's thighs, trying to lift his upper body, only for it to collapse flat to the floor as the ref counted.

"ONE!"

"TWO!"

He needed to get up.

Kendra's' world was spinning around her at the moment. She felt her head pulsing with pain with each passing moment, and she just felt like she wanted to puke. The fall was a lot farther down than she would have imagined. It didn't seem so high when you looked at it. She'd definitely not be thinking like that again.

"THREE!"

"FOUR!"

The ref counted higher and higher. But the blonde barely noticed. She all she could hear was a ringing in her ears, and the faint sound of the crowd's constant cheering and shouting, all of which made her head hurt even more. Kendra kicked one of her legs on the padded floor, trying to focus on anything but her raging headache. The last thing on her mind was getting up.

"FIVE!"

"SIX!"

"SEVEN!"

"EIGHT!"

The crowd was roaring for eitehr Texan to Stand but neither of them were move much at all. But after a spill like that, it wasn't likely anyone would be quick about it.

Clyde kicked his leg up but it felt down just as fast.

"NINE..."

"TEN!"

And with that! The Ref-girl called for the bell, the crowd groaning in dissatisfaction to an otherwise good match.

"...Shit..." His legs still worked. That was good. Just couldn't stand.

Kendra only let out a grunt when the ref called the count out. Both because the sound of the bell wasn't helping her headache, and because she was sure she had just lost in the most humiliating way possible. She didn't mind losing, but... couldn't she have lost in a way that made her look tougher? Like, Clyde had to knock her out or something? Not like this. Her first match, her first loss. And it was because she slipped.

Kendra forced herself to move one of her arms. She wanted to see how arogant Clyde was being, having just won a match so shamefully. Her first instinct was to look to the ring... where he wasn't. But if he wasn't there... When her vision cleared a bit more, she saw him, now far from herelf, laying on his back on the padded floor.

So... he had lost too? A double count out. The cowgirl's head flopped back down on her arm, her eyes still on Clyde. So he took it too, huh? Kendra grinned a bit, despite herself. At least she didn't really lose. But it still sucked. A fight that fun should have ended in a more meaningful way. He fought hard. So did she... this just didn't seem fitting.

"H-hey... ya alright?" she called to him, hoping that he was at least in better shape than she felt.

Clyde breathed hard on the arena floor, looking up a the lights, the bell had rung. Wow, what a sucky way to draw. And he was starting to have fun, though he guess he had to thank Kendra's slip, otherwise he'd be eating a superplex sandwich.

He looked over to her as she addressed him. And despite having a chunk of air knocked from his lungs, he probably was in better shape than her. He didn't fall on his head after all.

"Oh.... Never better..." He muttered and forced a laugh. "C-Can ya... get up?" He could. Eventually. Just needed to rest a second.

Kendra was relieved to see that Clyde wasn't hurt too bad. She couldn't' say the same for herself. She hurt EVERYWHERE. Clyde, despite not seeming like such a great fighter in the beginning, gave her quite a beating near the end of the match. That fall didn't help much either.

To top off her aching body, her pride was wounded as well. She wanted to take a win for her first match. Hell, a LOSS would have been preferable to a double count out... but it was what it was. It was over and she was going to have to accept it.

"Mm... eventually... when my everythin' stop hurtin'..." Kendra muttered, laying her head back down against the padded floor. Clyde sure was nice, showing such concern for her well being...that wasn't going to stop her from getting a rematch one of these days.
